Nice video, i just purchased a kayak myself and am thinking about fishing this area, it looks really good. I'm a beginner as in kayaking, do you think it's possible to kayak from mermaid waters to the nerang river?

It is doable mate, I have done it. But re entering some of the canals from the Nerang river at going out tide will prove a big struggle. It will run hard! Best to take little steps at a time if you are new to kayaking. I look for little circuits in the canals systems so I could spend a whole days travelling and fishing through it until I get back to where I started without having to back track! Good luck!
