I got one of those 70mm prawn colour lunch lure in a tackle club box. Trevally were following it all afternoon in the calliope river and a offshoot of the boyne river grunter were loving it. Not bad lures at all.

@@robbiefishing iv not even seen them yet haha. We have a brackish and fresh section of the calliope we want to explore soon i might need to stock up on these haha. Iv given freshwater fishing one good hard crack and just pulled in catfish lol. These things just seem to decimate. Edit: just looked. Spencer, mr tea, deep purple, disco, blue tang look epic. Almost think they are designed to catch as much fishermen as fish 🤣

@@robbiefishing it been poor fishing here too for freshwater species we have tiny like tarpon they come alive when suns setting just right they leap around taking insects off the surface pretty cool to see hundreds jumping absolutely perfect for fly fishing other than that been have big bass n saltwater species 15 km down river but I love my freshwater fish just the smell is addictive n there big eyes. Hi Robbie, well I reckon you have done more than many others to make people aware of the beauty of our Northeast and some of the wonderful fishing spots. Having fished the Kiewa and Ovens since a kid in the sixties and still, as far as I am concerned you keep doing what you do and stuff the criticism.
