I agree with the pressure being down low, I chase those barometer drops on clear days with good success as well. I find that I'm usually the only one about as it drops with the heat of the day, and if it's clear it's usually windy when it's down low.

Hey Jakko, my goal for this murray cod season is to get my younger brother ( 10 years old ) a cod bigger than 50cm. He loves fishing and i have taken him out in my tinny on various occasions. We always catch some small ones and i hope to make him happy by helping him land a larger fish. Another great video keep up the good work.

Hi Jakko, I’m 70 and been cod fishing for many years, I have always fished the three or four days before the full moon with great success and the same time but to a lesser degree the new moon.With the barometer I don’t use but I have been on the river and a good storm is brewing,about 12 hours prior and up until the storm the cod have just gone on a crazy bite. I used to love walking the rivers to catch my fish but now days it’s boat. But just live for my fishing.My goal is to catch one more metre fish before my fishing days are done. Hey Jakko , relatively new to cod fishing I moved from the Central Coast to tamworth nsw a year ago now and i found it hard to find any info on where to start so went to the peel River in the centre of town to just have a crack !!!
