Starting to see the experience from the continued nights of editing video starting to really pay off. Two thumbs up. Makes me miss my place in Mexico. Insert sad face here. Stuck back in the snow of Central Alberta.

Thanks for the kind words! Hope this helped ya forget the snow a bit. I’m up in some snow now in TN, so editing this helped take me back haha.

Hey Robert, I really enjoy your videos man! I was thinking, of course if you wanted to, that you could put out more videos of you cooking your fish. Similar to the ones you put out when you were on the Pacific trip. I don’t have any experience cooking fish, I’m more a steak guy, but I would like to learn more recipes and way of cooking fish. Plus, now that you have transitioned into that awesome RV, the one with your face all over it lol, I’m sure people would be interested in seeing how you cook inside the RV. I really do like the RV, that was not sarcasm. Anyways, keep the great videos coming and have a good one.

Finally. You were not "that guy." You know, you invite a person into the community and he slams the biggest baddest catch. It proves like Ivan Drago, you do bleed, you are not a machine. :) Great video. Remember the Alamo and Matagorda #thickbush.

Have you ever capsized this fully rigged hobie? If so, how is the re-entry with a 150 lb kayak, i.e., having the flip it back over?
@YakFishField6 жыл бұрын
I’ve capsized my Outback lots of times, and as long as you know how to flip it back over, it’s not too difficult

I used to fish Pineland and Matlacha mostly when I lived in Cape Coral. Good fishing there. If it’s cold toss a white fluke or swimbait around docks and other structure. Deep holes good too

Robert, looks like you're running 3-4 GoPros, and wondering how you keep track of when to change batteries, or are they powered off of a central battery? I don't see any power cables rigged down the booms, so just wondering. Nice episode!
@YakFishField6 жыл бұрын
Yep I run 3 main GoPro’s and have 2 extra that I use situationally. They show their battery life on the front display, so I just change them during any down time once they get low. No external battery source for me; I don’t like having wires running all over my boat. I use Refuel brand extended batteries, look for them on Amazon. Gives you 6-8 hours battery life.
@retnav926 жыл бұрын
Thanks for info, Robert. I'm running one Hero 5 Black at the moment. It's mounted behind me, so I guess I need to turn around and check it occasionally. :) Thanks for the tip on the other batteries. Any problems out of them so far?

Would a Revo 16 fit in your rig?
@YakFishField6 жыл бұрын
Maybe but just barely. It’d be going into my bedroom lol
@garymyers4726 жыл бұрын
Robert Field Rig heavier than yours wouldn’t be allowed in Baja. Thinking about doing what your doing and parking the rig down at East Cape with a Revo 16(?) and a Tandem Island both tricked out for fishing. Would be a great KZbin series doing Baja both sides Pacific and Sea of Cortez Bahia de Los Angeles through Cabo. If I end up going to Panama will talk about it.
