Kayak Fishing for Speckled Trout at Sunset |

The Speckled Trout went upstream into the mud flats for the winter and I was set out to find some one day after work. The Speckled Trout aka Spotted Seatrout are known for attacking the Mirrolure Mirrodine suspending twitchbait, which I used to catch most of these trout, around sunset. A few trout were landed on the Z-man Paddlerz.
The water was in the mid 50s and I found the Specks laid up in the shallow mud flats.
