Kayak fishing, it's always a good time

nailed it it the day before (last video), but struggled on this day. I didn't put it in but another guy hooked my live bait line. I was pretty frustrated, but eventually got my stuff together.
Trying to keep the videos rolling out as KZbin seems to be throttling my videos. Im not sure what I did to cause this as this channel is well within the lines.

I went down to Florida for a week back at the beginning of January. Fishing wasn't so hot, but I did hook a sail fish before losing it 20 minutes later. A 10ft bull shark showed up and ruined it, but the sail fish seemed to get away. Eventually I make video of the trip.

Hi Dan. Please don’t do a catch and cook. Hopefully I speak for most of your other sub’s when I say that I like your channel because it’s for the most part all about the fishing. Think you missed my question previously posted. 1. Do you ever use a burley? It doesn’t seem so. 2. You seem to have favourite marked spots you go to to catch bait, FAD’s of sorts I guess. Do you merely use damishi (spelling?) to attract & catch bait? It seems that you find the bait, drop the damishi & given what the damishi mimick the baitfish simply throw themselves at your hooks. I must be missing the bight time as I’m struggling to catch bait from my yak. I know the damishi I’m using works but things are really more miss than hit. I do have a sounder and I know what bait looks like when I mark it. Past fishing from the wharf I’d always just fish in the evening or early morning with a burley and catch plenty. BUT from on the yak ....advice please? Jamie

How could I find Opelu without a fish finder?

That is hard, probably you only chance is when an opelu school comes to the surface. It will sound like rusting water and the water will look disturbed. Fish finders have gotten pretty cheap. You can get a basic setup for under 100 bucks
