good show. when you left the launch and headed left up current, there is a really nice lake where crabbers run pots. I usually catch 3-4 nice reds 22-24" there.

Gotta love the top water action man! That guy who shortened his rod had a good idea but if anyone wants to try that look into Manley Rods. You can adjust the length to your liking. The guy from YakFishTv makes them.

+JossT001 that was actually me. I made that rod before the adjust-a-butt components were readily available. I still use the rod, but never really liked the action on it from day one. I had a different rod I made that I liked a lot better, but it snapped on me when I hooked in to a 32" red and I haven't gotten around to making a new one

hard question bro... id go to a local shop... rent both for a day or catch a demo day at a shop. try both.. or find a friend with them... try them both out. you will know in 15 seconds that way.
