Quick kayak review video while fishing San Diego Bay. It is the new PDL Old Town kayak 2020. IMO , overall the kayak is a BEAST. Felt smooth, spacious, and comfortable. BIG PRO is the PDL foot pedal propulsion system. However if you're not looking for a BIG kayak, get a small size kayak than this one.

We gotta race....my 05 hobie outback is just that..old but its amazing on the water.fast,turns great.i can pick it up and toss it on my Honda civic..and I can stand in it .....the bulky drive is what pushes me away from propeller style yaks. But I got lucky and only paid 500 for my hobie..so that helped too...great video,now we really gotta have a yak challenge.

Cool vid but you don't have the pedal drive set up right. It's supposed to be attached to that bar between the front plates.. The spring on it makes it easy to pull up and set into the grove to keep it up when needed. Is there a reason you didn't do that?? Glad to see you got out on it..

excellent inquiry. I have had many success using a drop shot technique for trout. utilizing 4 lb mono line, small mosquito hook size 10 ( I believe) and a trout worm on it. For you I will make a trout video utilizing this rig, in the next trout season
