Inter coastal fishing is great. Before Nocatee built up there was that bridge off 9A Used to be a great seafood restaurant right there and we would fish off the dock. Caught all sorts of stuff. Lots of shrimp to. But this was back in 2000 -2001

Those early topwater bites are so much fun! I like the spook and skitterwalks over the plopper though.
@DinsmoreOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
normally the spook is my go to top water for salt water, but I have been wanting to get one on a plopper haha
@tylerbean214 жыл бұрын
Dinsmore Outdoors for sure! I bought a saltwater plopper but haven’t had much action on it. Seems like you have to do a lot of stop and go to get strikes on it

Great video. It's cool to see videos taking place right down the river from my house. Keep the videos coming.

This is probably my favorite place to launch from. Why do you guys launch from there instead of the kayak launch at the end of the pier. I notice tracks there in the mud every time I go, I figure there must be a reason.
@chuckfalls98272 жыл бұрын
Never mind! I found your answer in another comment. Yeah, the kayak launch is usually covered with guys fishing. They never seem to mind making way for me to launch, though.

I am just getting back into fishing and wanted to know if a Jon boat would be suitable for sisters creek. I was also wondering if the alamacani boat ramp is a good place to put in at. Your channel is amazing by the way and one of the main reasons I’m now motivated to get back into fishing since moving to Jacksonville.
@DinsmoreOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much that makes me happy to hear, sorry for the late reply I'm overseas and can't on very often. Yes to both questions. Just know during the summer alamacani get real busy with a bunch of jet skiers

That kayak launch at the end of the dock works great. A little tight for a hobie but I managed to get in out pretty easy.
@DinsmoreOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
i`ll have to try it some time, usely the dock is covered up with people

Look into using 5" Gulp Swimming Mullet . Less bites but most bites will be in the slot. Since I switched i stopped catching dink trout.
@DinsmoreOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice! I`ll have to try to find some local. Been hearing alot of folks have been catching small ones there so sounds like I need to try some other spots
