Man I would love to see more River hunts this season 21-22 if at all possible. Alot of fun to watch even if you dont get alot of birds the scenery is awesome!! Good memories with a friend!

I duck hunt out of a OT Guide 119 (cheaper version of the Discovery 119) and I would recommend making a paddle and a gun leash. I've kayakfished for years and always had a paddle leash. The gun leash just makes sense too after I've heard stories from co-workers and lost shotguns while duckhunting. I use an old paddle leash and two lengths of paracord. I bought a browning cynergy for duckhunting and it would piss me off hotter than yosimete sam to lose my shotgun while in a canoe.

Here in Ohio if you are 100% floating you are legal to hunt the water. As soon as you touch bottom, shore, or island (with your boat, anchor, yourself, decoy weights, or anything for that matter) you are trespassing unless you have permission to hunt that property. Here property ownership includes the bottom under water. Awesome hunt by the way! I just picked up a 12T at Bass Pro and can't wait to try this!

DJ Dettlinger I don’t care as much for sit on top cuz I like to be lower to the water but also storing stuff and not having it fall out. They move through the water Quicker and track better I feel like. Thanks!

I believe different states have different laws. Here you can hunt rivers as long as you aren't touching bottom, which is considered trespassing.
