If there's any metal on the mount that is not aluminum you might get it with an earth magnet on a stick or rope. You could put another camera on a selfie stick. Sync that camera to your phone and put the camera on the stick down to the bottom to find the lost camera. Aquachigger is a channel that does all this. Check him out. He finds all kinds of stuff in spots like your describing

That's awesome man! So pumped ya dig the content. We are seriously blessed to have such great river systems around here with big smallies and all sorts of other species. Those small rivers in texas look incredible. skinnywaterboys and hookedoffthegrid YT is so insane. Those TX bass are on another level.

Have you ever hit the deep spot a mile or two upriver from your drop-in? I hear some big channel cats hang out there (just north of town)

Awesome footage as always, even though you were missing a limb. 🤣🎥 24 hours in two days is amazing. Unless my wife and kids are out of town I can never do that. I was hoping you’d have the footage of losing the camera. Also, the one that almost jumped in the boat? Probably one you just released. The next video I’m putting out I released one and a few seconds later he did the same thing. Lip was probably hurting and he was trying to throw a hook that wasn’t there anymore.

Thanks buddy! I only have every other weekend for trips like this since I have a kiddo too. Just gotta make to most of the time I do have. Atleast until hunting season starts. Hopefully I'll have 2 other cook trips planned before then.

That makes perfect sense about that fish almost jumping in the yak. My buddy did hook and land a decent one right before that.

@@River_Savage before I started my channel up (this spring) I’ve had similar things happen a lot. Hopefully now I can start catching them on camera. It’s so crazy. I had one on my Topwater Explosions video that was just sitting there basically dancing when I released him. Then he finally jumped and smashed my paddle. It was hilarious and I’m glad I caught it on camera. 🤣👍

I recently stumbled onto your page. Really good content. My biggest issue is lack of knowledge. I've decided I want to learn to fish at almost 52. Any suggestions for a wet behind the gills guy looking for an "easy place" to start my education near Beavercreek?
@River_Savage
@River_Savage 2 жыл бұрын
Really glad ya liked it! Unfortunately, there's no such thing as an easy place. To me, its all the work you put in to make the catches rewarding. I would start out just walling the river banks looking for deeper spots near current. When you find them, try throwing a small plastic swimbait on a jig head that goes deep enough to get close to the bottom of that deeper hole. All you gotta go is keep casting that thing around and eventually you'll get something. I would also look up what current seams and eddies are and cast into those areas. Keep at it and it will pay off buddy.
