Randomly odd question. When you are kayaking / boating or camping out on the smaller rivers / creeks do you ever come across any bison bones, skulls or even mastodon teeth / bones or native American artifacts? Love to go hiking the sandbars and creeks and have had great luck over the years finding these things in plain sight sometimes.

Very nice fish!! Like how you give us Iowans a taste of what's in our waters. I have a question, I notice when you fish logs brush piles you fish the front side and not much on the back side of them, what's the science behind that? Does the slack water behind them not hold fish? Thanks again!!

Because of you I got a kayak and fish the Kaw river in Kansas. It took me an hour and 20 minutes to paddle a mile up river and about 15 minutes to get back, what a nightmare.
