Love this video mate. Islands. Kayaks. Graveyards. Bad weather and a bombproof hilleberg. Fabulous views. Glad the weather worked out. You paddling out was great. Bugger. I need a kayak now. 🌞 Excellent camp and video mate. That's what it's all about. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Cracking video Pete! For some reason KZbin didn't alert me when you added the last videos but I'm getting caught up now. I really enjoyed camping from my kayak for I could get to more remote locations and haul more gear. Hopefully my health will come around so I can do it again. Thank's for a very enjoyable video! Fantastic Pete, Loch Awe is a great place and with the all the islands it makes some brilliant scenery. I've never camped there myself, but I've passed it lots of times when I've been heading to Oban. Did you know that Loch Awe holds the British record for Brown Trout (31 lb 12 oz) it was caught back in 2002. Atb Glenn

Great film mate. Really enjoy wandering round old graveyards for some strange reason, lol. There are a lot away up the west coast of Scotland and the thing you notice is that although it must have been a hard life up there, the average age they died is around 90 years old. Would love to do a kayak trip one day. Atb Ray.

madDog Bushcraft hello mate, enjoyed your video, I'm panning a trip to loch awe in April this year for 5 days, any tips? Were there any midges about? Looks like you had a good time. Cheers buddy Matt
@maddogbushcraft14757 жыл бұрын
Hi Matt, Firstly in April there should be no Midge, we parked at the east end of the loch near the river its about 200m from the car park to the river where you can launch your canoe, the better island for camping is the Green island and the adjacent island cannot remember the name, Take plenty of fire wood as wood is few and far between. If you are not paddling there are not to many places to camp around the edge however we only travelled about 4 mile onto the loch. Hope you have a cracking time mate, let me know how you got on. ATB Pete
