Good GRIEF! I'm a surfer/sk8er and an appreciator of extreme sports, but I hadn't checked kayaking in a minute - I just randomly found your Zambezi vid, watched it and was mind blown, and then this one came up in the rotation! Unreal!! Frothing!! Subbed!!!! Awesome video, beats , everything 😻🙉😻

I thoroughly enjoyed running the Kaiserklamm of the Brandenberger Ache, despite having torn several muscles in my thigh the day before, after a rescue on the flooded Inn went horribly wrong. Still, there was considerably less water in it back then and I had difficulties recognising the rapids! :-) That was a very impressive hole, that you guys considered not being worth the risk running. Good to see that cool minds and safety consciousness prevail! Thank you for sharing!

I'm wondering why you run so close to each other in the upper part where there's no way to stop or get out. I'd have thought it would make more sense to leave a bit of space when everyone's on their own anyway.
@justbecause31873 жыл бұрын
Probably so they can see each other and also get the footage. There is likely also a tendency for them to group up closer together as the ones that are following have the advantage of following the lines of the ones ahead, but they did get a little close for comfort at one point 2:00 .
@ramdas3633 жыл бұрын
@@justbecause3187 "a little close for comfort at one point 2:00" Yeah, that's the part that got me thinking. I'm only a beginner so it may be inexperience but when I run a difficult stretch I don't want to be that close to another kayak, then I'd worry about hitting them in addition to focusing on the river, it's super distracting. I see the pros do this a lot in videos, you're probably right about it being about getting good footage.
