Toronto doesn't have very much whitewater kayaking, just a little, on the Humber River. Starting from Cruickshank Park, there can be a few waves along river right, above the Raymore bridge. Alternatively, you can access the river directly from Raymore Park. The waves below the weir are called Ghetto Beige. Just downstream and around the corner are two more sets known as Subsidized Housing. There is a little excitement under the Scarlett Road bridge. Chocolate Thunder is along river left on approach to the Dundas Street bridge. There is also parking located in Lambton Park for direct access to Chocolate Thunder. Beware of the weir shortly downstream of the bridge, exit quickly on the left. Take out is available at James Gardens.
