We wish we had see the monkeys too!! We could hear them but they did not want to come out and play. Maybe next time we visit they will show there faces, I think we will stock up in the banana department before we go 🤣

The monkeys generally hang out near that pavilion where you saw the sign. Go around 5 pm after the tourists leave. Saw them two days in a row!

Back 10-15 years ago, SS was pretty cool. There was a safari ride where you could see a ton of animals. The story for the monkeys is actually from the movie Tarzan from the 1930’s. The rhesus macaque monkeys were brought over to film the movie. Apparently 3 of the monkeys couldn’t be caught so they packed up the film and left them only they procreated hundreds and became a huge issue once they started leaving the park.

On my way. I travel to a lot of state parks monuments star forts attractions in FL. I always have to laugh at the official narrative of why these places are here. Question history the story's we are told are complete garbage. Loved the video thanks.
