I used 7 1/2 inch square pizza stone on the bottom of the oven and put my biscuits on top shelf. Golden brown and no burning! The pizza stone came in pack of four. I would love to send you one to try out.

We always carry some Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) for situations like this and have found that roll on peppermint/eucalyptus essential oil helps with itching from the bites. Sorry Kellie had to deal with this, but it was still a beautiful and interesting video. Safe travels guys!

I was expecting Kelly to go overboard not Cody! Ha! Kudos to you for showing it. I was nervous for Kelly too! I always have butterflies when not sure about rapids and bushes/trees on the side. My boyfriend and I almost drowned because of a fallen tree and people in front of us got caught up and we had to stop in rapids to keep from hitting them and got stuck backwards in a wood tangle. Was tipped out and went under, couldn't stand up because of the strong current and where was our life jacket's? We were sitting on them....i will ALWAYS wear them from now on! Scared the crap out of me and taught me a valuable lesson without losing our lives!😵❤

Kelley needs to find out what type of bugs they were for the next time and also if you were wearing any creams , lotion or even some shampoos will draw them to you like a magnet. Knowing what they were will help you avoid this happening again and you’re also know what to apply or not to your body. Cody, you seem smarter than going backwards on rapids , that’s a sure why to get knocked out or a severe head injury. Eye wear is a big one near banks them small twigs will take an eye out. Hope Kelly is doing better .

Do you keep topical Benedryl cream in your first aid kit? It won't stop the reaction, but as the swelling goes down, those bites are going to itch more and the Benedryl will keep that under control. Love your channel! Thanks for all you do!

We carry Benadryl where ever we go. It can be life saving. Up in NY state we have flies that create havoc like Kelly has experienced.

Glad you’re ok, Kelly. Good you went to the doctor. Some folks are more sensitive to bites than others. Recommend keeping some antihistamines handy, and maybe even take one prior to your activities. These kinds of reactions can be life threatening, especially when you feel your breathing is affected in anyway. Cody be careful! That was an awesome example of a flip, 😂

Hey guys! Love all your content. Medical professional here. I noticed you said all you have is Tylenol. Make sure you keep Benadryl and Benadryl cream ALWAYS. It will prevent itching and god forbid you have a serious allergic reaction the oral Benadryl will help until you can seek proper medical attention. Love you guys!

Girl!! That’s what you call an allergic reaction! Benadryl is a standard for your first aide kit. When we go to FL the “no-see-ums” do that to us. It’s always worse the next day. Benadryl cream, Benadryl tabs should be in every vehicle and so on. 😉 We’re in Conway. Y’all coulda had our upstairs full on suite all to yourselves. 😂 I’m glad you got all juiced up Kelly. Cody, I actually spewed my drink when you spilled out of your kayak… right after that big bonk on the head. 😂 I shouldn’t laugh but I did!

I wear long sleeve shirts and long pants all the time when in the woods ... and here in Ocean Shores WA. the mosquitos are bad here come spring and early morning .... so hat shirt and long pants for me. I swell up and itch just like you. As we get older our systems change, I never had a problem when I was Young.

BUFFALO GNATS!!!! Little bitty bugs that don't know they are little and bite BIG!!!! Cody, and interesting fact and something interesting to explore. The head waters for the Illinois River Bayou is at Kings Bluff and Pedestal Rock trail. We went there one morning right after a thunderstorm and you can watch the water form into little streams and join other little streams and then go over the bluff at Kings Bluff that is a 70' fall. It is very interesting to watch and see how it all comes together. The timing is important, right after a rain. The trail for both features is about a 1 mile very easy loop. A very interesting area and something that I believe you would really enjoy seeing.

Years ago I was bitten by Buffalo gnats too. I swelled up as well and since the gnats got up under my sunglasses, my face looked like something hit me hard! I’m glad you took this seriously and got medical attention. And that you are going to be okay.

That video was very compelling and I commend Kelli for having a good time on the rapids in her kayak even though she was being bitten by a bug that caused a reaction, her strength and courage is to be a strong force within her life because she is willing to try anything even though she was nervous she wrote the course and I have a husband like Cody that took care of the camp and then took care of her is a sign of pure devotion in a marriage and it is so much fun watching this couple interact with each other setting up camp having a gourmet camp cook as a wife and a adventuresome husband in this couple. I so look forward to watching these videos I guess because I’m from Tennessee in fact I’m from Memphis and have gone to Arkansas many times camping. I’m so glad that Cody and Kelli went to an Airbnb for Kelli to rest and recuperate and to get their plans ready for the next video and their next destination. Kelly you need ahistamines for an Allergic reaction. You can ask a pharmacist and they will tell you. That will take care of the problem most likely. This happens to me if I'm out there and get bit by a horse or deer fly. They are mean.. Also it work for for food Allergies.

The price of admission is still worth it! Glad that you got through it. Just be more careful now. Histamines will get worse on your body as time goes on. In the last 20yrs I went from little reaction to stings and bites to carrying as EpiPen and Benadryl capsules. Your body will not build up an immunity.

Now that's the kind of river I like to kayak ...fun rapids, lots of wave trains and good fishing . Sort of reminded me of the New River here in NC and Southern VA. Those Viking kayaks look real stable. Kelly was acting like my wife when I take her on a river with rapids. Glad she is ok. Those bugs are like the Noseeums here in NC.

I’m suffering from Buffalo Gnats bites here in Louisiana now. They love to bite around your ears and neck. We live along a bayou and I think they are around water mostly April and May. Loved the video.

I too deal with the gnats bites too. I swell up and the bites get really sore. I hate this time year. I have had success with homemade gnat spray made with scope ,tea tree oil and witch hazel.

That was an awesome kayaking adventure except for Kelly getting all those bites. I'm glad she did not develop any breathing issues which occasionally happens with allergic reactions. I had fun just pretending I was steering and paddling. I have to get another kayak...regret selling my first one.

Hope you are feeling better Kellie! That really sucks!! We went on a last minute 4 night camp trip (just getting home) and two days ago I got stung by a wasp! I was taking towels off the line and it got me. My husband and daughter were taking my niece home when it happened. I have never been stung by a wasp and it has been a good 30 years since I got a bee sting, so I got kinda nervous. I instantly took some Benadryl and put hydrocortisone cream on it. Thank goodness I was fine but insects can be no freaking joke!! Again hope you are feeling 100% again. That water looked like so much fun to kayak on and the scenery once again was beautiful!

Yes, I was yelling pay attention when you were flying the drone. Kelly I feel so bad for you because I know how it feels. I am allergic to mosquitoes like that and it's horrible. I once had a nasty experience with deer flies too. They were in the grass and they stayed at that level and really hurt when they bite - like a horsefly. They look like flies only a little smaller and kind of golden in color. Holy moly I had over 30 bites on each foot from the ankles down. Couldn't wear shoes for a week! I don't know if that's what got you. PS, the concert was worth it. Crosby Stills and Nash, and Dire Straights back in the 80's!

We went fishing the other day here in SW Alabama hubby was bit many times while retrieving his jig out of trees that evening his eye swole shut both his elbows were red swollen and very hot as was his eye and a finger on each hand. It took many Benadryl and Tylenol five days later he’s getting better. Still have no idea what bit him. We figured it was spiders. Sorry you had such a bad time Kelly hope u feel better soon. You might need to stock up on Benadryl for future.

You may want to keep benadryl or topical Benadryl on hand. I don't like taking Benadryl but the topical works great for bug bites. Some bites only need Aloe Vera gel, like skiter bites. It makes the itch and swelling go away within five minutes. A wasp, hornet or yellow jacket sting is treated very effectively with a poultice/paste of baking soda and water. Stops the sting immediately. God bless.
