What an amazing country. 🇳🇿. You are so lucky to have been able to explore it.....even if you hate paddling. 😆. I once had a Klepper ( a portable canvas and rubber kayak with wooden ribs that were designed to be taken apart for traveling). But trust me, once it had been assembled, I never took it apart again. Taking it to Lake Powell once was wonderful, but I can identify with what you are saying here about how far away things look from one's seat on the surface of the water! You can't really gauge progress unless you are close to those rock walls. Thanks for the beautiful shots of the cliffs, waterfalls and food 😋 from down there. And thanks for triggering my own good memories of being a paddler right on the water. 👍

🤔 I've had the same idea about kayaking. How I may like the idea more than the activity itself, What a wonderful trip. Thank you for sharing.
