Folks want a heavy gourmand scent for the summer? Not me I love a clean smelling sweet scent for the summer. Personally, I think some folks love to complain and are never satisfied, they will find something wrong with everything. I love it too.

I think it's more so the fact that it was advertised as a super sweet heavy gourmand. Even the notes featured on the bottle are all the sweet notes and not the fresh or floral notes. So I think the complaints are coming from ppl who felt misled. Just my observation 🙂

Gourmand doesn’t equal heavy, strawberry 🍓 pound cake light airy , not false advertisement saying chocolate 😂. We just want truth telling lol .. I love Kayali musk 12 it’s the best delicate intoxicating long lasting beautiful scent she has made it’s still works in every season. we have so much laundry, citrus , fresh scents , raspberry etc. I guarantee people wouldn’t be acting crazy if she has just said here is a fresh scent for spring .

Im thinking you pulling the sweeter notes because it’s warmer where you are those of us thats in a location that’s more cooler may be pulling the geranium ect more possibly? Im expecting mine in the mail tomorrow. It’s finally leaning towards the high 50’s where I am so i’m curious to know how it may smell. Also, it was just released and most people say Kayali fragrances smell better the longer they sit in your collection. Perhaps it will smell better by the end of the summer so people may be using it more as a transition into fall fragrance. When I looked up all the notes listed I had already saw it was going to be complex because of the notes that was put together. I was thinking it was going to possibly smell like a sweetened matcha rather than a pistachio. 😂But then I was like idk I quite I just wanted to smell it whether I liked it or not i’ll soon find out.

Update: I received mines in the mail yesterday and wore it overnight. I actually like it enough to buy a full bottle of which I have ordered. It’s pulling sweet on me with my body chemistry.. Hubby and son both think it smell nice. In fact son said it smells nice and different he can’t put his finger on what it smells like. Husband said it doesn’t smell like pistachio though. Husband also doesn’t like heavily foodie smelling perfumes either so perhaps if the pistachio note was prominent he probably would not have liked it. Its a yes for me and it is perfect for spring. Had it been winter time I would still wear it because it would pull more clean. I’m picking up some type of sweet citrus and the dry down on me is sweet marshmallow. So on me the dry down is very similar to Kilian Love Dont Be Shy and the top note is more like a citrus lime instead of Neroli. The pistachio is very faint and faded in the background underneath the sweet marshmallow until eventually it disappears and you only smell marshmallow. The opening reminds me of how a high end hotel soap smells it’s hard to explain it’s nice and different. Not basic at all because it will definitely draw people in its a unrecognizable scent. I want to say maybe Mona was going for a play on Kilian Love Dont be Shy type of feel because even though it smells different it takes you on a similar journey. Its definitely different and I have not smelled anything like it. I actually like the opening and overall dry down they both smell nice. I’m low key happy not a lot of girl like it because I know I wont smell this everywhere I go all spring. 😂🤣😂🤣

It was love at first sniff. It’s Airy, good for summer. Sweet & fresh. I don’t get Powder. When I think of powdery scents I think REM or Dama Bianca etc. I get a perfume with a Gelato feel. I get most of the notes but the pistachio itself is a tad light. It’s very addictive & I keep spraying it &! I get these whiffs every so often. I love the drydown best of all. I would re purchase for sure. I did not like Vanilla Royale at all & got no sweet notes from that so this scent is a pleasant surprise. 🍨

It is so funny how all of our noses are different. I pick up on the pistachio and ice-cream all through the wear of this fragrance. I love it so much! I am waiting for the Sephora sale to get the full-size bottle. It was definitely a love at first sniff for me!

I love it too! It was love at first sniff for me as well. It’s not too heavy, it’s fresh, it’s sweet, it’s so lovely. A co-worker stopped me the first day I wore it to ask what I was wearing. She said she smelled it as soon as she came up behind me and loved it immediately. It doesn’t last long on the skin but I spray it in my hair and on my clothes and it lasts all day for me. Love love love. This and Invite Only are my two favourite from Kayali and I have all of them.

I love this fragrance! It actually reminds me a lot of Fantasy from Britney but a lot lighter and airy lol. It also lasts on my clothes for over 24 hours without being really faint.

I watched so many reviews and was still pleasantly surprised. I have a large collection and it is still unique and smells pretty and still gourmand but not an expected kind and thats a good thing. I love it. I was afraid when people kept saying soapy and I do not smell that and I get the cold, nutty, powdery gelato. And it lasts on me. Not a beast, but lasts. Thank you for your review. I enjoyed the scent reminding me of Valentino Donna aqua. When it comes to Kayali I have accepted that Mona will always put 20 on 10. She always going to over exaggerate, adding notes and descriptions she knows does not fit the fragrances but will get people excited. I don't get it because had she just market this as a summer gourmand, people wouldn't be returning it so much.

Hey, my sweet and beautiful Atlanta neighbor! Thank you for your honest review. And yes...girl! That pollen is "pollin"-ing. 🌼 My experience with Yum is that I ordered this fragrance going solely on Mona's Introduction video with her telling us how much of a creamy and decadent sweet marshmallow-y pistachio gelato scent it is. So, honestly I was expecting exactly that and to be able to purchase a fragrance based on what it's being marketing as. So, considering that, yes....I was surprised. I wore it through the weekend, hoping that the notes listed would start to come through on my skin, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. I can see how it may smell like a gelato shop with the chilly vibe, but the fragrance isn't called Gelato "Shop". I just wanted the perfume to smell like it's description. On my skin, I get a very light and breezy scent, I describe it as a Sprite Float (does that even exist?😂) like, a glass of very cold Sprite with a little dollop of Vanilla gelato in. And it's nice, as you said...perfect for these hot and humid Georgia days. It just isn't what it is marketed to be and that's very important to me. I don't want to be surprised, you know? My husband said it best. I had been raving all about it for a few weeks, and when it came, I sprayed it all over myself, and we left for our date night. Not five minutes after I got into the car, he said, " Hmmm. I thought you were going to wear the new Gelato perfume." 😫 I knew it right then. Thank you again for your honest review, honey. I appreciate it. 💐

How I wish I smelled what all the people who love this scent smell! 😭 I love gourmands and for me this scent just wasn’t it! I got a medicinal powdery scent from my travel size. It was a no for me! Went back to Sephora immediately! For those who didn’t like the scent, Dua has a Pistachio Gelato that has that nutty sweet ice cream scent that I wish the Kayali version would have had.

Hey girly! I’m trying to catch up on everyone’s videos. Been going through a lot of family hardships with their health. But please 🙏🏼 keep my family in prayer. You look beautiful as ever. I honestly wasn’t gonna even bother after all the mixed reviews, lol but I felt I needed to try for myself. I bought the travel size. On first spray I was not with it! 😭 but I recently pulled it out and started wearing it, actually letting it settle into my skin & mesh with my chemistry. So once I actually started wearing it. I got compliments from my friends & family. My skin picks up lots of the fresh on initial, then just gets so sweet and I get a pistachio but not the almond type, so i appreciate it! It’s perfect for Spring! I’m loving it 🥰 great review! The packaging is beautiful too! I also love Pistachio gelato ice cream and it reminds me of that type of vibe! Stay blessed love 💕

I think your completely right! People wanted it to be super gourmand just like for Kayli Royal. And the Fenty Vanilla Butta Drop. They just want that extra nauseating sweetness. I love the light powdery and sweet scents. Especially with it already being in the 70s-80 here in the south and the allergies acting up. I love the new kayali I bought the travel size when Sephora had the glitch and I’m going to purchase the biggest one during the Sephora sale.

I love it too it’s one of those fragrances that others can smell on you but you can’t. Idk if the people who don’t like it want very projecting fragrances but I got a ton of compliments when I wore it. I layered it with another pistachio perfume I love to bring out the nuttiness and it’s so bomb after a shower.
