I really appreciate ya’ll making time to comment on the approach and descent. That’s honestly one of my biggest fears when climbing and it makes me feel better hearing you comment about it being a scary part due to the unroped factor and choss. Ya’ll are bad ass.

The fourth class is way more dangerous than any of the technical climbing we did that whole time.

When we did that route, ‘98,party of four, we came from the north rim. Bikes, then hiking, leaving gear stashes as we came in. The idea was to do it in a day. Due to mismanagement of water and headlamps we didn’t make it out in under 24 hrs. An unplanned, illegal, brief bivvy insued. 27 hours total adventure!

You guys aren’t from Austin, are you? Asking because the singing through out sounds distinctively like Little Brave, a musician acquaintance of mine. Great video BTW.
