Here's a Winter Xenolypics idea: *Valak Mountain Tightrope Walk* The contestants have to walk that super thin path to Kana Peak and safely exit it at the other end, whoever completes it the fastest without falling wins.

I noticed that the Xenoblade Olympics didn’t feature anything from Xenoblade Chronicles X. Maybe that Skell Racing event you thought of could make an appearance for 2025.

@@NontpNonjo Funny enough, that was actually what the original tie breaker was. It was a stealth race through Makna Forest and they would be set to level 5 or so. I’d like to revisit the concept at some point.

You really should have explained to the contestants that you needed to AT LEAST complete the Segiri questline (to reopen the prison) or the "Going Home" quest in Agnus Castle to open the floodgate in front of the castle. Pyro had no way of entering the prison area without fast traveling because he didn't do either of those. Though I guess it's not like he was on pace to win, anyways

@@MaxAutoAttack I told each of the contestants a few weeks beforehand that they needed to fill out the map ahead of the competition, so they’d have a sense of direction and would be able to access the necessary places. I didn’t realize until editing that Pyro wasn’t able to get in since I thought they had all been in the clear. If he got to the prison vents before Bits and Enel made it, we would have let him fast travel inside knowing he had no other way in.

@@KayJulers I agree that an emergency Fast Travel would have been acceptable. I'm just wondering if you had explicitly stated the specific side-quests that opened all the paths. I didn't mean to sound harsh if I came off as such, by the way, this video was a great time.

@@MaxAutoAttack Nah, you’re totally fine! I didn’t mention specific quests cause I thought the Segiri quest was required to get all the landmarks in the Prison to fill out the map. That’s at least what I did when doing research for the event.

I'm surprised you even need to do the quest. I assumed the prison was empty and accessible once you had progressed through the story :o

Anyway, some suggestions for future events: Xenoblade 1: Race to fill out the map in Colony 9 on a New Game by discovering all the locations and landmarks Xenoblade X: Give contestants a limited amount of time to find a high up location to jump from, and the longest fall wins Torna: Scour the Kingdom of Torna and Gormott to open as many Green Barrels in a limited amount of time as possible Xenoblade 3/Future Redeemed: Chain Attack High Score (no gems + storebought accessories only to even the playing field) Miscellaneous: A Smash Bros tournament where non-Xeno characters are allowed _so long_ as the contestant can make it a Xeno reference (e.g. Red DK as Rotbart)

@@questionmarkquestionmarkques It's as big a part of this series as exploration, so I would say it's fair game. Plus I already gave some suggestions on how to make it more fair to contestants who haven't spent days worth of grinding.

A comment for the algorithm! I think the idea of doing challenges in singleplayer games between multiple creator in the same area is always pretty rad :D I hope more Xenofolks would give these videos a watch. Great job and congrats to Xenobits :)

I know the perfect idea for the next Olympics, let me participate! But real talk, we could try something like the photo taking challenge but make it more evil. Get every item in the collectepedia and submit it. It’s a bit of a luck thing, and would probably need to be somewhere small like Colony 9. On the plus side if that’s the case, we could finally get Fiora off of her substance problem and get her back into the games.

That was really fun! Really great work with the editing, seriously. These Xenolympics videos just keep getting better. Poor Pyro lol, he didn't have a chance with those closed gates. Congrats to Xenobits for the win. Here's an event idea: how about a "blind" hunt where the contestants must figure out what they're hunting based on "Yes/No" questions to the judge. The person to find the target with the least amount of questions wins, with ties being resolved based on speed? I'm mostly thinking about monster targets, but it could maybe be adapted to locations or items? Could work on any of the games or maps too.

For xenoblade X, I think a "big game hunt" could be neat - give the players a set of enemy types (ex. Saltat, Millesaur) and then tell them to go out and hunt down the highest level version they can find.

Great XenOlympics this year! A suggestion for next year's XenOlympics: Doing a mountain parcour from bottom to top of the Black Mountains in XC3 Future Redeemed. The starting point is "Canyon of no Return" and the challenge begins when hopping on the grind rail to "Belgaza's Drifts". The first contestant to reach "Prison Island Camp" wins the challenge. The main difficulty lies in the platforming sections and overcoming the stony mountain terrain. Sometimes the contestants have to choose whether to take the riskier paths (like the thin slope before Valak Mountain summit) or the saver but slower paths. To make it fair, everyone must have the same walking speed and have been to the end of prison island at least once, so that all enemy camps are already cleared and all grind rails have already been laid. Looking forward to future XenOlympics!
