Which, , diff to tire ? Was it Compromised at some point? It might have a slight bend to it

How did those drive shaft cups hold up on the diff pinion? I'm a little worried that set screws won't be enough for the torque in my car.

Looks good , so you run three lockers ,and any problems yet, I only have that in the center and 50k f/rear.

In that car I just threw a locker in the rear, so kayla could do donuts easier

Great looking case. What was the blue stuff you put on the hinge pins? Was that grease?

Alien Bounce blue water proof grease, though we don't plan on getting it wet.

ALSO... do you know if the FID center diff assembly on aliexpress (the red one) will work on the mtxl.. it looks so gorgeous...

Chris Hastings it will work, except for the top section, with the mtxl spur gear , if you put the dbxl spur gear then the whole thing will work . fact I bought it for Kayla's dbxl and the mtxl , I will not run the smaller spur, that's just my preference

The dif case looks great I thinking about getting one for my 4th scale and hopes it fits I know the difs. it self is way too small for my outdrives the shafts are too large in diameter but all in all the DBXL looking good keep up the good work nitro,gas forever

Doug Hodson sometimes there are advantages and certain applications we're doing it just as a test and have some fun plus Kayla likes to do donuts that should make it a little easier for her

Im all aginst using grease on the suspension pins this only makes them collect more dust and wear faster.

Chris Hastings you can use the majority of the towers with the MTXL Spur Gear, except for the top that ties the two together, then you would use the plastic stock top, but if you use the smaller DBXL spur gear , you can use all of it

Oh yeah, that pinion, you can try it, if there is enough room, but you may have to change it, no big deal. ..

What's the difference between the mtxl dbxl spur tooth count.. good gear ratio

Chris Hastings DBXL has a 61 tooth And mtxl has a 67, tooth I think you could do but you'd probably want more motor

Chris Hastings I heard that AREA more than likely has gone out of business, all I can say is that I had been waiting for them out of stock for over a year, and my buddy Said something like what ever was left over was it!? We all need to push companies to make top Quality aftermarket parts for the MTXL!

andres gomez bought the FID Diff Case online , try ebay or look up FID DBXL and a bunch of options will come up!

Chris Hastings Absolutely! Almost all of the dbxl stuff will work for the mtxl only a few will not, just double check first and always ask! The diff case will.

Absolutely.. mtxl been out for a while and nothing specific out for them.. Thankfully the dbxl is compatible or there would be nothing to upgrade..
