I saw a video on TikTok that shared to also try to teach kids how to read/spell phonetically (the sounds the letters make). For example instead of c-a-t, to teach the sounds k-ah-t. Won’t work for all words because of letter combinations making different sounds but a lot of people in the comments were advocating for this way of learning words!

My mom spent $250 to alter my Jr. Brides Maid dress. I was 11 and they put me into a women's size 14. I was still in kids clothes. They wouldn't take the dress back either. The seamstress basically had to take the dress apart and put it together. I think the price you paid is good. The seamstress made a purse and 2 scrunchies.
