something I used to do with kids when I taught- as a science experiment- was to buy a box of smarties- in Canada they r great as they have the diff colors- and have each child guess which color there would be the most of. Then I had them open the box and sort them. They also had to graph the colors- they were maybe at least Grade 3 to show which color won. Once they were all done I told them they could now eat the evidence.

I have to say I was the same way about trying zucchini bread but now love it! I am 34 years old and still very picky. So glad I can eat whatever I want now. My dad said when he grew up you ate what was put on the table. You didn’t complain or anything.

at one year old he should be eating mostly solids- he has enough teeth, so scrambled eggs, avocado, pear, soft peaches- fresh, banana slices, pasta with cheese or sauce, toast with peanut butter or avocado, pancakes, French toast, , soft pieces of cooked carrot, mashed potato, soft cheeses, raspberries. I would stop the pouches.
