the skin tones looks super amazing !!! can I ask how often do you change your wacom nibs?
@KayleighJune3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 To be honest I don't change them very often, but I have in the past when the pen nib starts to scratch or become more abrasive on the pad.

I placed a glass frame over my wacom, and never had to change my nibs at all.

When you use the color picker do you always place it on the darker area or do you place it on the problem area?
@KayleighJune3 жыл бұрын
Mainly I try to use the colour picker in the midtones where it's most saturated, so I guess you'd call it the problem area! 🙂

the last couple weeks i have tried to stay away from frequency seperation completely and i have started to purely use micro dodge and burn for my skin retouching but i can make skin absolutely perfect , colors still remains a problem, a model can have red spots and lines etc all over the place , how do i fix that when i don't use frequency seperation? frequency seperation with a mixer brush fixes everything in one go but what do you do when you use micro dodge and burn? how do you get the red lines/spots out of a models face? dodge and burn is great to adjust luminosity differences but than you are still left with a mess of colors. So ye the main issue is that i switched from using frequency seperation (which fixes both luminosity and color issues) to Micro dodge and burn which only changes luminosity, how do you fix the color issues after you did your dodging and burning?
@haies093 жыл бұрын
Clip a Hue/Saturation adjustment to your dodge and burn layers and adjust to color correct the issues
@trancer033 жыл бұрын
@@haies09 i am using curve layers set for luminosity so there is very little adjusting that can be done But the bad colors on the models skin are not just caused by the dodging and burning. I am talking about bad skin colors that are already there. Since I no longer use Frequency seperation with a mixer Brush i no longer have a good way to even out the skin colors, a good way to remove red and yellow and whites lines and spots. Some models have really bad skin colors from all the mass amounts of makeup they been using over the years. Those issues are not global issues that can't be corrected with color grading but very local color issues Good localized color adjustments is what I need.

@@trancer03 you can use any color adjustment for color correction. Use the mask and neutralize the colors with the opposite color
