I seriously love the drinking straw analogy thats soooo helpful! Much more so than in inches. Thank you! Now I have a request. I know you’ve done these in the past but could you please do a several day video with these curls?? Like these curls on day 1 and then what you do and day 2, 3, 4, until whenever you wash it next?

I'm glad you like the analogy! I think it's so much more helpful too! And thanks for the idea!! I definitely need to do another of those soon. Maybe fall hairstyles?

This is the BEST “How to Get Voluminous Curls” I’ve EVER WATCHED!!! I just watched your video you did with Tati and I’m subscribed to you Girl!!!! ☺️💜 I always curl my hair in the same direction and I always end up with zero volume on the top of my hair! One HUGE QUESTION I would love to know is how can you sleep and wake up with curls still looking good? I’ve never been able to sleep touch up my curls and go!!!! I learned so much from you!!!! YAY 🤩🤩💜💜

hey kayley, I like your tips and video! I thought of another "big hair" tip that I use . Maybe you would like to add it to your hair drying routine. once I'm almost done drying my hair.....I put head/hair upside down and dry with for a minute on hot and then blow dry with the "cool" setting so the cuticles close. I find that add lots of volume. thanks again

Hi! I really, really liked this! It's always easy to follow your tutorials, you're great at explaining what you do, how you do it, what you use and why you use it. Thank you! I looked into Bumble and Bumble's webshop, but can't buy anything because of the prices and the taxes the Norwegian government has set on buying from abroad when you spend more than approximately $42 (and that includes shipping). So if you've got any good substitutes for the products mentioned in this video, I'd love it! Because I love volume just as much as you :) Hugs from Norway!

I have straight hair but when I blow dry my hair I part my hair on the opposite side of the part that I usually do which I normally part my hair on the left so I’ll part it on the right when I blow dry my hair or if I’m wearing a straight part that day I will flip my hair back and fourth to get volume on both sides of my part and flip my hair upside down

My fine hair won't hold curls like this. I live in a humid climate and they just fall out by the time I walk to work. What can I do? The only curls that will stay are when I use a tapered 1-1/2 inch wand with the small end pointed down. I want DJ Tanner hair!!! Help.
@marissasharp98926 жыл бұрын
Mindaurra I don’t know if this helps, but I also have fine, thin, delicate hair that won’t hold heated curls. And I live by the coast, so it’s always humid. What works for me, if I want my curls to last, is this: the heatless headband curls method. I put a little bit of lightweight mousse on my roots (Tressemmé is my favorite). Then I get my big headband, after my hair is 90% dry. I wrap my hair all in the hair band (search KZbin vids for this because I’m not good at describing things, LOL!) and sleep in it overnight. Or you can wear it all day since it looks like a Princess Jasmine hairstyle. Take it out and style how I want. My curls might loosen into waves, from the humidity, but I don’t completely lose the curl. And I can sometimes get away with wearing it wavy the next day. Sorry if you’ve already tried this! Just what I’ve found works for me.
@mindaurra15256 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I will try this method and see if it will work for me. :)
