I have the same nails as you, very thin, breaks easily and always splits. I tried a lot of different things but nothing made them stronger and I couldn't were nail polish bc it made them worse. But I tried Essies treat love and color nail polish (they have several colors) and I let my nail grow out while using it and now my nails are strong, don't brake or split and I can have them in any shape I want, soo big tip!

Hi ladies. A lot of nail strengthening treatments can make nails more brittle, since it hardens them. A simple and natural way for healthier nails, is Tea Tree oil. One drop rubbed over 5 nails, then repeat on opposite hand, with a 2nd drop. You can use Tea Tree oil over polish and enhancements as well. I use this over my gel polish and recommend to all my clients. 😉

They look amazing! I've been doing my own nails about 3yrs but off n on. No straight thru 3yrs. So.... I can't wait till I get better. I prefer gel, builder gel, builder in a bottle. My natural nails are just like yours & YES, IVE TRIED EVERYTHING 2help with the strength n length. That's y I've went to gel bc the builder gel definitely helps with strength. My nx step is 2learn how to put on the forms correctly. The paper ones that stick to the fingers. Bc I hate wearing fake nails & tips. But you're amazing! You're very creative & you don't give up. You keep trying. And that's how we learn. ❤❤

i LOVE this set!! would you ever consider making a video about how you shape your almond nails? i seem to always file my nails off-center when i attempt to do almond. almond is my favorite shape too and i don't always wanna have to do coffin. seems like it's hard to get it perfectly round!
@kellyrodriguez61603 жыл бұрын
I find the best way is to look at your nails from multiple angles while filing and adjusting as you go. Top view (hand flat), the back of your nails (palm up-helps sometimes) , and fingers folded into your palm (I think gives you the best perspective on if it’s straight or not)

Nails typically thicken because of continuous pressure kinda like how callouses form on skin or injury. I don’t know how genetics would work but I’m sure that could also be a determining factors. The more you use your nails to do things basically, the stronger they’ll get because your body will adapt and send more nutrients to your nails. The same thing happens when you injure you nail or nail bed because injuries require more than if the area were healthy.

so cool thx for the video!!!! I actually spent like a lot to make nails like this based off my nails but it became too frustrating aligning tips and everything and it took a lot of time I don't have haha, and the filing shaping and buffing rly strained my nails tbh, so I had the idea to get full nake nails and put them on shiskibob (don't know how to say it lol) sticks and I hot glue and then do like gel and sometimes dip and then glue them on! They last soo long and they look so much better because its hard to paint my other hand so my right hand looks bad so thie prevents unneat nails and they lasted 3 weeks!!! Highly recommend trying this if you have trouble painting your nails rly neatly or have a bit little time. It works great because my nails were gettign weak and theres no buffing or drilling involved!!! They also just fall off after awhile which is nice!
@batainleilaclarriz55273 жыл бұрын

It's so amazing how you can do your right hand with your left hand. I'm lucky if I can paint them without making a mess 😂😂 I really want to start learning to do gel or even maybe acrylic 🤷 I've never been a girly girl, and I think I've had fake nails 3 times in my life (I'm 35yrs) I hardly ever paint them for the same reason that I can't really even paint them lol . My nails are so thin too so every time I try to let them grow and have them pretty they brake off 😭😭😭 so I give up 😞 anyway, I like your videos because you make it look so easy and explain so well. Thank you 🥰

I love your nail videos and I also watch you while doing my own! I am super new to doing fake nails on my own, the hardest part for me is filing the fake nail down to match my real nail without making my real nail too thin, I've done that the last few times and they hurt so bad after removing them and half the time, the fake nail pops off. What do you recommend I try to fix this problem?
