I want to show the Thompson family a little sympathy knowing that if they didn't get Franzel i's shut down they could have lost everything but every time I watch the flashback episode all I can think about is that Nick deserves to get revenge on that family of liars and thieves because it's clear that Tony would have never gone to prison if the Thompsons had not backed him into a corner where he had no other choice but to steal money to pay those gangsters.

Season 3 could be amazing. I want to learn about Nick's mother. Can we bring back if we talk about it more and more people watch it?
@roch35865 жыл бұрын
My theory is that her mom was also a con artist. I mean if she knew the Haurbaughs then it makes sense. Also when her dad was getting arrested, They were already there ready to adopt her. On the the other hand Nick's mom could have just been a friend and the Haurbaughs were just trying to take care if her. There are many outcomes which is why I love this plot. Part 2 litearly made the Thompsons a antagonist and Nick and her father protagonist and then switched back.

In my opinion, her dad's the worst, this is all Tony's fault, now because of him Nick has made terrible choices such as being a con artist but I don't think it was all the dads fault, becuase she made terrible choices herself, and the Thompson's they should ashamed what they did ESPECIALLY Ed what he did was wrong and Liz did all of this just because of some restaurant, but the thing that bothered me was that they were selfish, rude, all they cared about was thereselfs and now look what happened to nick, the poor girl has gone through a lot after her mom died, and the Thompson's aren't helping the situation ( I don't know what to say about the dad other then he's a bad person) but overall they are all bad as each other, they all did bad things, but Nick getting revenge makes her just as bad and as the Thompson's...

FINALLY I found someone who thinks like me about Ed’s attitude! God heard my prayers! In my opinion he could have apologized Nick cause he was the only one of the Thompsons who didn’t do it, and it bugged me a lot and made me upset. The director could have built a better ending showing Thompsons fixing their mistakes as well as Nick did, for example, Ed helping Tony leaving prison and Liz helping Nick rebuilt Franzelli’s, so she could start over working there with her dad, even living with the Thompsons. I don’t know why Ed didn’t like him, but he thought he was right denying the loan extension because he couldn’t stand him, and not because it was the “right thing” to be done.

Greetings, Kristen, I'm glad that you liked the second part of this show. For me, the highlights of this part were Jeremy coming to terms with his sexuality, Nick's budding relationship with Will, and the revelation in how the entire Thompson clan played a crucial role in Nick's father's arrest. I also agree that Nick was the weakest link as far as acting goes, but she's still young, and has plenty of time to improve as a performer. 😊

You where talking about how Nick seems kinda confusing, like not really sure if she’s genuine. I think that’s how she felt, she was really hurt and genuinely angry at them, but then she started to love them. The episode with her taking down Molly really portrays Nicks love for Molly (and the family) but it really showcases how hurt Nick was, but also how she just wanted to know that Molly actually cared. Nick herself was struggling.

I would be especially hurt If I was the father I mean he was the first one to accept nick and even defended her in quite a few occasions and to top it all off he just talking about how he wanted to adopt nick before everything got revealed. call me crazy but somewhere down the road I do lowkey want them to adopt nick once they deal with everything

True I am just hoping they don't gloss over everything by saying we don't care what was done and all is forgiven which alot of shows tend to do I just hope there is some reconciliation Also the Thompsons don't know some of the schemes nick has done they only no about her lying about who she is
@kyreeseclarke8054 ай бұрын
I discovered this show by accident on Netflix. It popped up under LGBTQ so the mystery to me was who was it. I suspected Jeremy but had to watch. Nick got my attention too once she said I'm in. I spent part 1 pretty much hating Nick waiting for her downfall and was cheering Jeremy's suspicion of her. However Part 2 was much better and Season 2 Episode 5 flipped everything I was Team Nick all the way. Molly got so full of herself in Part 2 and I'm glad she had lost her following she needed humility as she didn't even feel a little sorry for what she put Nick's family through until the last minute. Nick's father is a scumbag who puts their 13 year old daughter in the sight of dangerous criminals. I wish the end would've said that $100k is now his problem though my theory is that the Thompsons would probably have paid it off for him to set her free and they would've adopted her afterwards. I loved the ending family Hug that was everything I felt the emotion and when Jeremy finally came out it was so beautiful.

Had a few problems with the season, it dragged quite a bit sometime and the quality of the writing in some scenes REALLY made me cringe. Also, I feel like the interactions between Will and... everybody were all terribly written. That's it though. Everything else is pretty great. It was an emotional roller coaster and the cast was great. There was some really good stuff with Molly, Liz was a much more developed character, we got to see more of how this situation is affecting Ed, the writers managed to weave a genuinely good LGBTQ plotline into Jeremy's characterization that fit the overall themes of the show and there was a lot of great characterization and conflict both external and internal with how they handled Nick. Great Season. Tl;dr: drags at points, Thompsons and Nick great, Will sucks.

Not with how Nick was written, but the way the actress portrayed her. I think everyone else felt like they really were their characters but to me the actress who played Nick always felt like she was "acting."
@5secondstudio7714 жыл бұрын
@@kaymaldo Oh, well ok then, I can't actually be the judge of that to be honest. Acting is all a blur for me when I'm investing in a story I'm hard to disappoint. But her story is really well written. She was an innocent child put in an impossible situation and i'm talking Doctor Who the Fires of Pompeii level impossible and I feel for he in every episode. I really do. I also understand a little something about writing that allowed me to see early on that she wasn't just up to no good as the trailer would have you believe. I had put together early in the first couple of episodes that they were somehow responsible for he father being in prison. It wasn't just that they were rich and Nickole's father didn't direct her to the Thompson's because they were a convenient source of income to found his hidden agenda but the audience isn't supposed to know that right away. None the less I had my suspicions from the start, and I was not disappointed. Anyways seeing story quite often leaves me blind to the skills and lack there of with acting. To be honest I'm much better off reading a book but long hours of squinting is rather difficult and I don't want glasses.

I feel like I am the only one to dislike this show; season 2 has definitely increased my distaste. All the characters behave in an underhanded way; I know I take my shows seriously, but I would be concerned if I had teenagers that behave like the teens of this show, and I would be equally concerned if I married a man that took advantage of his position the way Ed did in episode 5. Nick is the worst of them; she's cutthroat and cruel. The last episode did nothing to redeem her.
