On the knee line. Now measuring from your waist to knee cap, you'll have to subtract 4" so to have a break point which gives ease in movement. So that breakpoint, is my knee line.

Hi Kay. Thank you for the tutorial. Please , on the back panel hip line, did you connect 2.5 extra (ie. 1inch zipper allowance and 1.5 butt allocation from the front) to the 1inch zipper allowance on the waist? Thanks.

So we won't be confused, you will connect the 1.5 butt allocation to the waist and knee lines first, before you mark 1 inch zipper allowance following the new center back.

If the difference between waist and hip is less than 6 or 6, you use 1" as your butt allocation but if more than 6 then you use 1.5. go through your drafting again

On the knee line for the front bodice, you'll subtract 1inch from the measurements on the hip line. Hope that answers your question.
