Yet again two hard tough young boys on the verge of becoming men proving what they're made of showing that they can handle themselves with courage. Fantastic.
The rules of this sport need changing a bit; you see when the guys are all wrapped up on the floor on top of each other for extended periods, it's not a good look. The sport needs to add a stalemate rule like in wrestling, to get the boys back on their feet because in my estimation the sport is not as popular as it could be, because of the compromising positions the fighters are left in which leaves the viewer feeling a bit awkward because of what I explained above. I watch these fights every now and then, but I always think this same thing on nearly every fight. So I don't watch as much as I could were those awkward situations removed.

You're talking rubbish. Your estimation is wrong. Wrestling and close groundwork are at the core of MMA combat.

@@wrestle2uk They are just down there too long.. Hardly moving and it's just awkward viewing is all I'm saying.

@John d No, I'd say it's more about the rules of the sport actually. I am a gay man and if it's uncomfortable viewing for me then it's definitely making straight men uncomfortable. Maybe not for you because you seem to like the boys on the floor gyrating on each other, but it's not really what I look for in combat sports.
