02 Mustang GT 2V with 125 shot of Nitrous

I had an 03 that had headers, x-pipe, underdrive, upper intake, tb, cai, 3.73 gears, you name it plus a tune and it only made 258hp at the tires. But for what it was it was a fun car.

These only 2v were so inconsistent with stock power. Some put down 220rwhp, some 260rwhp.

Is that even safe? That sounds like a good way to blow something real fast. But I've heard from a lot of people that the 2v can take about 400hp totally stock without destroying parts, so who knows.

Theres no set limit or number but a lot of people say dont push past 450ft/lbs on the sbe. However, even 400ft/lbs on a blower car vs a turbo car are too completely different worlds as far as what the engine sees. People have made far more and made it last while others kill 100k mile engines at stock power level. The world is an imperfect place.

Bee20er The stock 2002 GT made 260 from the factory.

+RadiantGreen 260 is the indicated horsepower. Brake horsepower and rear wheel HP of a 2002 mustang GT is around 235-240HP

why is hp so low and tq so high? shouldnt a 125 shot be putting down 390-400 whp with full bolt ons?

On good set ups your torque is usually always higher that's a good thing
