The fact that we all made rachel the villian just so tate and miles end up together is a bit sad. I loved that there was no ex drama in this book and rachel was actuelly a person that we all can love.

we went through enough of an emotional rollercoaster that we didn't need a toxic, obsessive ex making an unwelcomed appearance😪thankfully Rachel wasn't that kind of character. And I agree that it's sad we villainized Rachel in order to get the ending we want but when I think about all the blame she placed on Miles before she ghosts out of his life...she's not all that innocent. i say all this but I still loved Rachel's character nonetheless 😂

I never saw Rachel as a villain I liked her she wasn't toxic she loved miles ,Ik she left him but she broken 18 years old girl who just lost her son it was too much for her if it was me I would have killed myself ,Rachel was as broken as miles and I never hated both and I'm happy that both of them got a happy ending .

Couldn't she bother to at least call him to say that she doesnt blame him any more. Like apparently if she knew miles rlly well then she would have known that her accussion made miles believe that he didnt deserve love. That was my only prpblem with rachel.

I personally never saw Rachel as a villain even though she blamed Miles an left him I understood why she did it. She was young an to have to go throw what she did she wasn’t thinking straight so I actually understood

This book crushed my heart and healed it again, piece by piece….. I know its not real, but if felt soooo real for me. I felt everything. The happiness, lust, passion but also the fear and sadness. Watching your video let me relived all those feelings again. The writing style was absolutely amazing. No words for it. Glad you enjoyed this book too.

I love Rachel, hot take😂 I love how much of Miles past we got bc it helped me understand his trauma enough to never really hate how he was acting. And finding out why he was drunk and that Tate came into his life at one of his hardest days of reliving his pain😭😭😭😭 I wish I could read it for the first time again

I was so shocked that Colleen Hoover's been writing these ingenius plots for SO long. I was 17 in 2014 just graduating HS, and Have been reading for a long time in the romance genre, and let me answer your question about the troop being popular. NOPE, her character surrond more on dark romance/goth realism with initimacy with people, so this def didn't do the mastry it made to the young girls of today. Back then, books by Sophia Kinsella, John Green, Meg Cabot were in full swing during those times. These characters were created to be liked with perfection, unlike to stark contrast to Colleen Hoover's characters with imperfections, raw trauma for what they truey are. She gives so much dept and gravit to her characters that has so much of dimension in them that it makes you feel related to them. Unlike the books that hit the mainstream back in mid-00s. Plus a lot of dystopian YA fantasy such as Divergent series, , THG, Throne oof glasses, Matched series, The Red Queen, Uglies, The Maze Runner were in full swing. I can totally see why the present generation love her books, and me reading thm at 27 I see it too. I haven't picked a romance in so long, but her It ends With us, Ugly Love have been my firsts in forever. Im obsessed.
