Darren runs Skyland Studios out of his basement in Lakeville, MN. That’s where Home Free recorded most of their music, at least pre-pandemic. Darren is also a great singer and has his own group, The Blenders. I just saw them in concert a week or so ago and they were fantastic.

What I just realized a couple of weeks ago is that they are in MN for this vid and it is no where near Christmas! Which is why all the folks look at them like they are nuts for caroling! If you pay attention to Chance when Rob sings about he looks around because of his bleach. You two are so so funny together. Yes please do this again. This is a favorite for my daughter and myself 🤣🤣 We went to see them in concert right before Christmas last year; in the weeks leading up to the show, my daughter (10 years old at the time) constantly asked me if they were going to do this song. I would tell her that I didn't know. They put on an amazing show, but didn't do this song. Until they were wrapping the show up, and Tim said, "It's been a great show tonight, and we wanted to leave you with this!" and they went directly into this song. My daughter FELL out of her seat and started crying happy tears. It absolutely made her night!
