beating this game in only one cycle is such a huge milestone. For years and years and years we been playing this game in 2-3 cycles at the bare minimum for speed runs, but no longer! the legendary one cycle run without SRM is finally possible TAS!

And, you know, the entire rest of the run. I genuinely thought this was an impossible challenge until just now, even after the human in first cycle discovery. And yet this run manages to keep showing off one solution to an impossible problem after the next, I had no idea where things were going until the very end of the "puzzle section". And given the years and years of research that went into trying and failing to accomplish this goal... this feels to me like the most significant LOTAD accomplishment yet. I hope everyone realizes just how much history there is behind this one in particular! Anyway, I can't see how RTA could ever happen, so I'm sure that means it will be done in a few months or so.

Thank you keeta for your dedication in bringing us the 10 years of Lotads. I still remember back then being glued to my screen at the 2 pause MM lotad, mostly thanks to your style of commenting. I'm not someone that regularly watches speedruns, but I've made a point to check these videos out every year. Thanks for keeping MM and OoT alive in my head.

That's crazy that without ocarina, playing oath to order just kicks you out to termina field. Because it loads the field to do the cutscene, and then it's like "wait what was i doing here?"

Hey Keeta! Just wondering, do you still plan on doing LOTADs from time to time? You said that you weren’t going to hold yourself to February 21st anymore (and I don’t blame you, needing to put a LOTAD together on a deadline is probably really stressful) but do you still plan on casually working on LOTADs for fun? As a sort of “if it happens it happens” kind of thing?

What prevents you from learning sonata and raising woodfall before turning human? Is there just no viable setup for ocarina items as deku in palace/woodfall? Or does either of them not work without the actual ocarina? In particular... couldn't you do some restricted items method like ledge popup to pull out an explosive, then use that for OI with express mail?

If you activate the out of bounds owl statue in clock town via bomb hovers the game registers you as having activated a statue and lets you play the song, but u have no valid owl statues. You control where it goes by moving your map to a spot in the pause menu and then playing song of soaring. You can't move normally on the song of soaring menu or the game will freeze. By out of bounds statue I mean the one on the other side of the loading zone. It's not the same owl statue as the owl in central clock town, its a separate owl statue but its not mapped to any location you can warp to so it lets you teleport anywhere basically.

It is, but at this point it requires SRM, and that's banned in most categories.

There are some hurdles that would make it extremely difficult. For one thing, you need a relatively fast ice float dip, which there's currently no known way to ensure. Then you need a fairly optimal massive hover followed by a plausible way to beat Twinmold without losing time. The Big Octo skip isn't easy either, even though you have more time to do that.

no, it's kinda the opposite. every time you pause, the game time advances an extra tick than it otherwise would have

You have to have an arrow in your inventory to do that, and the only way we know how to get that is by getting the quiver (by getting the bow from Woodfall).
