Kazu Blumfeld Hanada - Radical Perspective. Teaching Methods in a Transforming Society

Warszawska 24. Wykład odbędzie się w języku angielskim w ramach pobytu Kazu Blumfeld Hanada jako profesora wizytującego na Wydziale Architektury PK.
Kazu Blumfeld Hanada jest architektem mieszkającym w Berlinie, prowadzącym biuro architektoniczne: werkstatt blumfeld bau/kunst. Ukończył Tama Art University w Tokio oraz Architectural Association School of Architecture w Londynie. Wykładał na całym świecie, między innymi na Tama Art University, Architectural Association, National College of Arts Norway, Bauhaus University Weimar, University of Arts Berlin. Od 2008 roku jest profesorem Münster School of Architecture. Jego zainteresowania związane z architekturą koncentrują się wokół fizycznych i efemerycznych granic architektury podczas transformacji społecznych. Praktyka architektoniczna i badania akademickie tworzą subtelny dialog między teorią, hipotetycznymi eksperymentami i praktyką.

Chair of architectural design of workplaces, sport facilities and public buildings Faculty of Architecture Cracow University of Technology is pleased to invite you to attend a lecture by Professor Kazu Blumfeld Hanada that will take place on 26th November at 18:00 in the 1/1 hall in „Działownia” Building at 24 Warszawska street. The lecture will take place in English as part of Kazu Blumfeld Hanada’s stay as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture, CUT.
Kazu Blumfeld Hanada is an Architect based in Berlin, running an atelier for architecture: werkstatt blumfeld bau/kunst. Graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. He has been taught worldwide including Tama Art University, Architectural Association, National College of Arts Norway, Bauhaus University Weimar, University of Arts Berlin and since 2008 he holds a professorship at the Münster School of Architecture. His concerns on architecture focus on the notion of redefining the body, threshold of emptiness or the transition along the social transformation. The architectural practice and the academic researches create a subtle dialogue among the theory, hypothetical experimentation and the practice.
