@@mrbaaman The requirement for Kazuya turning into Devil is that he must be in rage. It doesn't matter if the opponent has 50% HP, 170 HP, or even just 1 HP. And you don't lose by being almost dead. You can make a come back.

If you had a good time then you won in the end. It's hard to keep up execution especially when the nerves get to you. At the end of the day the two best things to help with that is at home practice and getting more comfortable with the tournament atmosphere. Think of practice as "over training." If you can do multi-electric combos in your sleep, it means that even when the nerves kick in you'll still probably be able to focus and do them. And of course just going to enough events helps you get more comfortable so that the nerves go away and you can focus on playing well and having a good time. Your comment feels like you have a good attitude about it even though you got rekt so just keep your head up and I'm sure you'll be able to git gud :)

Naa, I love the transformation mid match. Games need to do that more with characters instead of using so many slots on technically the same character. Tekken Tag had it Perfect where he could transform into devil at will. That's the way to go. Then just add extra perks if he transforms FROM the rage drive.

To help people out with knowing what the damage would the combos do without rage, usually, a fully scaled combo that uses rage ends up doing 5 points more damage than if the combo didn't have rage. The combo at 8:04 doing 92 damage would do 87 damage without rage if you tried it yourself for exemple.

I would recommend doing df4, b21 into hellsweep+heaven's gate from f1+2, it's really consistent and fairly easy to pull off.

Hey, mainman, technical question here; i’ve noticed there are quite a few wall combos out there where you would delay a hit and wait for the opponent to sink down a little further and damage scaling of the move is changed. What is that exactly? Is the opponent “on the floor” or is it because the delay, the last move doesn’t count as part of the natural combo?

Would the mid EWGF that Devil gives be too powerful if it was 0 on block? Because if you pop Devil, you're most likely about to die anyway, so I'd figure it'd be good to give some good incentive to use him more.

It would be better if it was +4 because that way, if u have very good execution/timing u could spam it, and if the enemy would choose to jab it, u would actually high crush the jab instead so it becomes a very super scary tool for your last bit of remaining health

@@princekanbatsu2301 no. Then devil kaz could spam electric once you got to the wall and you would just have to take it. Electric is 14 frames fast, so you would trade with the jab, then wall combo. If they consistantly hit pewgfs, then it would be impossible to interrupt, and I'm not too sure that you could even sidestep it with the tracking buff and the reduced pushback the mid one has. -2 is the most I would push for frames on the mid electric.

I'm a yoshi/lee main with hei as a secondary on ps4 pad, and I can reliably do 5-6 electrics in a row (not in a combo, but at the wall.)I think its balanced as is, maybe be a bit less disadvantageous on block. This is all just a thought experiment tho so no harm done, hope I didn't come off as rude.

Excellent new move. Makes the EWGF and Twin Pistons much more consistent and more damaging and f+1+2 now gets a full combo. I think this was what was missing from Devil mode that truly makes it complete.

Wee bit late but after the 2nd hit of the hellsweep connects, input cd1 and hold uf. Think of it like a string or a 10 hit combo.

It's actually not THAT hard to get the deep TGF off the Hellsweep on the wall. You just have to wait a bit but it hits so low that you're basically guaranteed to connect it so long as you execute the TGF at all.

Problem is, when you transform and absorb damage, you're already dead because rage mode is there only when you don't have much health left. And because of that latter factor, it's hard to control adrenaline and perform a rage hellsweep rather than just pressing one button for rage art

Sometimes, I forget that Kazuya can still transform in his Devil form. But, If I was a Kazuya main, I would never use it: I don't think that sacrifice rage mode for the transformation it's a good idea, my opinion.

You don't have to do the manual transform. You could alter your combo to do the rage drive at the end and do the Heaven's Gate extension to get the transformation. Maybe do some lab testing to see if you can do the d.1+2 laser oki afterword.

Actually getting easier and more rewarding middle oki is super nice. Like man ff3 is a bit predictable if u ask me, and iws2 is kinda hard to perform consistently. Also if u get a hellsweep is a shit load of damage

I use manual DVK all the time, its use as a keepout -oki tool, DVKs biggest advantage is using delayed hellsweep near walls. ANY wall spalt with it does 60+ dmg GUARANTEED

The only use I can see of ff2 is probably just getting a side switch without having to risk a throw break maybe
