She did though. She thought it was part of the show at first, but when she said "oh, it's an ad" she obviously understood the scene was meant to be ironic. It's very possible that she's never seen the Pepsi ad that the scene is a parody of, so it's not surprising she didn't get it at first.

Eh, I heard that part of why The Boys has gotten review bombed is because of the schedule change from putting out entire seasons at once to putting out only the first three episodes then airing the rest of the episodes weekly. I swear, the idiots that review bomb for that reason act like shows have never aired episodes weekly before. 🙄

I would "temper expectations" for S4. I'm not sure if it's the pacing, how different everyone looks , or something else but I'm not a huge fan of the new season. Yet, at least 🤷‍♂️ I hope it's just me & other people love it but it feels different.
