He's right about the mini-van. I bought a 2010 Honda Pilot ... so my soul didn't die ... and so did a friend for the exact same reason. She literally said this out loud before we found her a 2013 ... ha. Amazing vehicle, smooth driving, roomy, and very comfortable. Good power. Corners amazing. Drives like a heavy car. Very well thought out and designed well with lots of nice little features. Sunroof, fog lights, heated seats, and leather interior are standard on everything except the most basic model. It's doing things on it's own for your comfort all the time such as autodimming the rearview mirror, automatic rear window wiper activation when it's raining and you put it in reverse, using noise cancelling technology through a microphone up front that sends noise canceling sound waves through the built in subwoofer, hill ascent/descent hold when you left off the brake on those steep hills, etc. I even took it offroad and drove it through terrain it had no business driving through and I was surprised at how well it did. I even nosedived into a deep ditch at about 45 degrees ... bumper wedged into the mud and after locking in the 4wd it just crawled right out no problem. I planned on saving all semi-serious offroading for my Chevy but the Pilot actually feels like it could handle almost everything as well ... as long as you kept rough terrain to a slow crawl due to the lower ground clearance and less girthy steering and suspension components. Love it

Proud Owner of the 2010 EXL model...with the other Grill... love it. smooth ride, no issues, great leg room (i'm 6'2"), easy on the gas (If you have a lead foot, that's your problem, not the vehicle's/Manufacturer's problem), don't need the navigation system, I know where I'm going, Love long distance driving in it, very comfy.... my only gripe is the ECO light, since my driving foot is not made of lead I have to see this light turn on a lot; which can be distracting to the eye while driving.

I've had my 2012 Pilot for 3 months now and love it. I take it on some good off road trails (not off=roading) to go biking and it handles great and takes everything I throw at it, and when I took it to the snow it never lost traction once (although I do have continental tires that were made for light snow use). I put all our wet boots and clothes in the water proof storage underneath the back ( it's pretty big and for some reason I always for get it's there). + It's practical and functional = }

@Marcus Stiner he's lucky that's all I can say in my experience they get rusty so fast . and the paint will be coming off like skin. not to mention the V6 Edge and explorer and ford Taurus. they have a very stupid design in which the water pump run with the engine chain timing belt. that is at least $1500 to $5000 job research before buying . in the other hand GM is a rust lover cars no question

In this case dull is what most people are looking for...how many parents want excitement when they are hauling their kids around? This is targeted to families...if you want sporty get something else. Not saying its perfect...nothing is, but it does what it was designed to do.

I prefer the Kia Sorrento....it only seats 7 but it looks better ( inside and out ) and gets better gas mileage which I am thinking about more and more now a days.....but then again I might be a little buyist since I own and drive a Kia Sportage.

I'd take any of the copetition over this, the interior alone kills it for me. While also the outside is way to truckish looking coming from a company that doesn't offer any trucks... and no I do not count a Ridgeline as a pick up. -_-

no everyone cares a bout HP silly, on the contrary that means lower MPG's. And the Pilot is way less likely to give you mechanical problems than a notoriously known for breaking down DODGE.
