I have a 96 LT4 in great condition and I always park way away from the crowd when in a parking lot if at all possible. I would rather walk a few extra feet than come and find my car damaged. Door dings are other accidents are ultimately going to happen when vehicles park around you because people just do not take care.

I think the tan is a nice contrast for the red mist convertible. I currently own a bmw white with a tan interior, it makes the interior more bright and roomy. Makes sure I don’t fall asleep on the wheel. Black hmm.. kinda claustrophobic and sleepy as far as interiors go. The only thing I would change on the last spec is put in performance exhaust. Saving the video. Thanks for showing this a awesome spec.

Thank you :) I'm a big fan of the 2-tone seats, any color honestly. I just like to see a break-up and mix of the colors, keeps the eyes wandering to look for all the detail. I thought I wouldn't like the orange, but it really isn't bad! We've only had one, but it actually looked really good (gotta get black wheels with it in my opinion).

Want to report back for everyone to know that finally Chevy has the Red as Red. It looks like the Red of a Ferrari, and not with a tint of being Pinkish, like on the previous Corvettes. I was so happy, since I am going to order the Torch Red color

@@KBCarsChevyChannel The Blue is really nice. It is like the Subaru Blue, but because the paint has more coats than others, it is so glossy and thus so beautiful. A lot of people on KZbin have said that any color looks great on the C8, but they dont realize that the reason is because GM decides this time to make the paint more expensive. Like on those very expensive cars.

It's done by a 3rd party technically. Their info is showing on the wall as I intro into the last Vette. They're certified with multiple companies and do a ton of high-dollar cars (including ones for some Cavs and Browns players in the Cleveland area). Best work I've ever seen!

Yup, it's a 2021. He ordered it separate from the car to make sure it didn't hold up delivery by being back-ordered like on the 2020's. He got lucky and it showed up same time

It's hard, but they're out there. For those who order the z51 and high wing, they'll actually end up with both (z51 installed at factory and high wing replaces it at the dealership). Most of those owners are selling them because they have no use for 2 spoilers. The owner of the one in this video gave it back to us to sell.

Z51 package gives you lower final drive ratio (more acceleration), bigger brakes and other goodies, it's probably the best bang for the buck package on the vette

We don't know the full year at this point. GM switched it up to a quarterly release. Right now we have about 20 pending orders. If we get the same as our original 2020 allocation, we should have a few left. We'll know our next numbers in early February :)

Ken, great video...AND, this could be showing something controversial with Red Mist Metallic: your two samples appear to be VERY different in color. The first RMM C8 - for example, at 5:09 - looks like cherry red with a slight occasional flash to (say) cayenne. The second RMM C8, - for example, at 13:19 - IS ALMOST THE SAME COLOR AS THE ORANGE EXTENSION CORD on the floor, even more orange than a "tomato red". These two cars were shot in different buildings. Were they filmed with the same camera? Do the two rooms they're in have radically different light systems, and differently color painted walls? (The auto white-balance feature on the camera would probably "normalize" different light and wall hues, but in so doing, may be shifting the color rendition of the paint job.) Is there a chance that these cars are simply painted with different paint formulations? It _is_ early in the 2021 run, maybe something odd is happening in the Bowling Green paint shop… Thanks much for any feedback you can give - this is a hot topic among us who want to order Red Mist, but ONLY if it's more like candy-apple red, and not orangey rust.

Great question! The lighting wasn't ideal for either location, and I did notice it when editing the video that the second one looked different on camera. Before it went back for the ceramic coating, it was in the same room with the first two (all 4 were originally in there together). They definitely have the same color, unfortunately just poor lighting. It really is more of a cherry red that pops, had it been sunny out (curse the endless Cleveland clouds) it really would have shown it well and like Ron said, it can change depending on the lighting. Red has never been my favorite color, but the Red Mist just moved to the top on my chart! Much better than the Long Beach from before, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all

Why a 3Y/36K "warranty?" Does GM recognize the 1970s are 50 years ago? 5Y/60K is industry standard, with terrible quality makes like GM stepping up to 10Y/100K to ease traditional concerns. In the $100K range for the GM C8 quality shitshow, it should have at least a 7Y/100K bumper to bumper.

Is that fitment, or is it the result of wavey stitching that looks like uninterested children built EVERY SINGLE car? Its hard to attribute every massive failure to a single concept. The quality is utterly putrid. The C8 is even worse that the C7, which I looked at buying, very seriously, but at $107K with only 650hp/650tq and major quality mistakes everywhere, it was an easy pass. The C8 looks like a major step backwards in value and a total GM collapse in QA. Its a bad joke.

That's the worst rear engine bias of any car on record, including the VW Beetle and horribly rear bias, defective Corvair. The C8 is the most REAR ENGINE car of any rear engine car, ever. The C7 was a perfect mid engine design at 50/50.

I don't know why anybody would now chose Torch Red over the new Red Mist as it just looks so much better and looks a lot like Crystal Red Metallic from 2011/2012. Why does anybody order the base wheels as they are just terrible. Disagree that the spoiler makes the car look better (I have Blade Silver 3LT with Spectra Grey wheels, black rockers) as I think it messes up the lines of the car. Black nachelles look strange without black top and A pillar.
