The purple by far looks the best. The wheels along with the fact that the obnoxious carbon fiber sides blend in much better. Honestly, it doesn't even look like the other C8s. Looks really nice.

Instead of bringing back the Sebring Orange that was on the 20-21 c8 back to the 2025, GM should bring back Lime Rock Green from the 2014 c7. Would look really good on the c8

Its beyond epic. The entire C8 series is VERY possibly the best sports car series in automotive history, and im dead serious. The entire range of sports car endeavors is covered so thoroughly that its quite difficult to beat the car as a whole regardless of price. The looks is just as competitive as any brand out there and trying to daily a 5 pound carbon tub chassis isnt what you think it is.

@@Baltzy24 Porsche series cars, either 718 or 911 dont come close to what the C8 series is offering. 992.2 is a hybrid series that is rumored to be way more expensive than 992.1. Already a Carrera S can max out to over 150k. GM took a huge market share away from Porsche with the C8 series.

From an engineering standpoint, the C8 is in may ways the best car ever made, period. But the design is an epic disaster that can be described in only two words: “Chaos” and “Chunk.” Colliding lines and angels. A chopped off front that looks as aerodynamic as a snowplow. The only Corvette to ever be described as “ugly” by major press and analysts. Looks are subjective. What’s not subjective are the chaos and chunkiness. And incredibly, Chevy makes design changes by actually ADDING more doodads. Who approved this thing?

Couple things. First: One of my business friends sold his C8 Z06 He was a lifetime Corvette owner and he told me that it was impossible to drive on wet/slick roads. Second: That bar of switches between the driver and passenger is hideous .The Z-06 would be fun to take on a track like the Kentucky Motor Speedway but driving it on the street with all the idiots would be trouble.

The Hysteria purple has made me want a 2025 z06.. I'm bummed because I just finally made up my mind to repaint my V wagon purple, and then GM says they are gonna make a purple corvette. However, i guarantee it will be filled with texture as usual for GM, so maybe I'll just steal the Hysteria paint code for my V

I’d take GT350 over a base C8 stingray in terms of fun and excitement. Way more special of an engine. The c8 has more modern comforts and tech, and feels slightly more upmarket given the mid-engine layout. C8 Z06 is a huge step up tho.

Ordering for 2025, I think my mind is made up. I am going for that Hysteria Purple. I do like the color changing in different light aspect, I've always peferred that- that darker colors bring, but I need to give the dark reds I've preferred forever also a rest for a while. LOL I also think all black interior this time, with cooled seats that is just fine. Just easier to keep looking clean. No more light interiors for me. That's decades of ownership speaking. LOL

And I refuse to buy a C8 ZR1 when it comes out because first of all it'll probably be $350,000 and also it'll still have boring regular doors and that's too much to pay for a car with boring regular doors not to mention What's worst of all is the only make the damn thing for 1 year and then they'll stop making it. I'm just not going to waste my time with something that they're going to artificially inflate the price. When it's a Chevy it's not a Ferrari. It's not worth what they're trying to price it at

They need to bring back the manual 7-speed transmission. I DONT like automatic. Also I'm not going to buy a ZR1 because they'll artificially inflate the price by only making the car for one year. Unlike the 1990 ZR1 which was just a little bit above the base model Corvette in price but they'll probably have this one listed at $300,000 or more. I don't have time for that . The 2019 ZR1 was nothing but a cash grab. They only made the car for one year and Jack the price through the roof I don't like when companies artificially inflate the price by purposely limiting production. But what they need to do is add one motion vertical Lambo doors to these cars from the factory
