KBDFans 60% Mechanical Keyboard | Sound Test with Stock Gazzew Bobagum 52g Silent Switches

Hey everyone! Here's a sound test for the Gazzew Bobagum 52g silent switches in a KBDFans 60% Keyboard Case with a 1up Keyboards PCB.
These are completely stock, with factory lube on the springs. Overall I'm extremely impressed with how quiet and smooth they are right out of the box. There's a bit less bottom out than a non-silent switch, but that's the sacrifice you make when going for a silent build.

Since it was released on April 1, I was hoping for a silent clicky switch review.

Sounds pretty good, considering I don't usually like silent switches. I might give these a try, nice sound test!

They're pretty good! they don't have as much travel which takes some getting used to, but they don't feel as 'mushy' as some of the other silent switches I've tried in the past.

Honestly they've been one of the best stock experiences since starting the hobby! I think I'll be doing a spring swap though, 52g feels so light

I got the non-LED ones the other day, not too bad stock and it’s got a nice bounce to it which I like

I believe the non-LED's are the heavier spring weight as well right? My one complaint with these is that they're a bit too light, but I have some 70g springs on the way to test with.

@@PatrickRennie From what I can tell there are lighter and heavier spring variants on the silent switches but only the lighter springs on the LED ones. I also light heavier springs too. I rest my fingers on the keyboard so 45-50g just won't cut it for me haha

Dang this quiet with an aluminium plate is incredible, I thought it would be way louder what the heck.

Yeah I'm really impressed with them. I ended up lubing them after this video and they got even more quiet. Great for a shared office build!

Take a look at the Boba U4s - they might be more up your alley. Or if you're looking for something that isn't silent the world is your oyster :P
