@hanabi41082 жыл бұрын
Hello there! Sorry for the late reply! For the parts necessary for this build, you can purchase them individually from KBDFans (Bamboo case, keycaps, switches, stabilizers, and PCB) As for the soldering of switches onto the pcb, you can add this link in your cart so they can solder for you: kbdfans.com/collections/assembly-service/products/dz60-assembly-service?variant=34158197145739 Please do contact the customer service, or chat with them via the live chat function to ensure that they understand what your requirements are! Hope this helps :)

Wood cases are great for the sound they make. Wish they had a high profile case.

i really wanna build with this case and i have a ton of questions like did you use hotswap or regular pcb for this and can i use hotswap
@hanabi41084 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Feel free to ask and I'll answer to the best of my ability :) For this build, I used the regular(solder) pcb! I really wanted to build it with a hotswappable but I came across some comments on kbdfans website saying that the hotswap sockets get in the way with the screws on the back so it wouldn't fit into the case.
@snoopy59133 жыл бұрын
If you can chisel the small wooden ring around the screw holes a hot swappable pcb should work

Love the colour combo. It is possible to install arrow keys on the DZ60 PCB? Will it require special programming?

I believe you can solder the layout you want with the dz60, then change the keys with VIA!

Are you sure if the hot swappable version doesn't fit into this case? Also, do you know if there is a high profile wood case?
@hanabi41083 жыл бұрын
I can't confirm about hotswap, all I saw was a comment someone made about the standoffs being in the way of the hotswap sockets. As for woodcases, atm, I believe there's only lowprofile cases, at least from kbdfans. Hope this helps :)

Do you know if the gk61 bluetooth version battery will fit in this case? The battery size is L 108mm * W 37mm * H 4mm.
@hanabi41083 жыл бұрын
I believe it's not possible. There is no extra cutout(space) in the bottom case, unluck other cases such as the tofu.

Are the hotswap boards compatible with this bamboo case?
@hanabi41083 жыл бұрын
I believe pcb that uses kailh hotswap sockets are not compatible, as the sockets comes in contact with the screw hole of the bottom case. Not sure about using millmax sockets tho.

Can I use the gk61 to hotswap into this?
@hanabi41084 жыл бұрын
I've never tried it myself but have heard from some people saying that the hotswap sockets would get in the way of the standoffs in the case, making it unusable unless you do some modifications to the case.

@hanabi41084 жыл бұрын
@@joostwagelaar8837 I've read that it makes the keys "G" and "H" sound better. This might sound weird since it's just a screw but when I tried it myself with and without the screw, the 2 keys does sound different. Opted to go without screw in the center as it sounds better :)
