The gas stations are bigger and the country overall is bigger. In the UK the petrol stations that have a small supermarket creates queues for other drivers trying to get to the pump. We just want to fill up our cars and leave, and petrol station food is overpriced.

Tip for getting "slushies" as you called it....put the lid on the cup 1st, then fill the icee inside. It won't spray all over you and you can fill it to the very top of the lid. More for your buck so to speak. :)

We fix pickled eggs for Easter, always been a family tradition. I use my Great Grandmothers recipe, pickled beet juice, vinegar and pickling spices! She used her own canned pickled beets. Always a treat.

Last time I was in the US the lady at the 7/11 came out from behind the counter, and outside to point us in the right direction, also 2 customers also came out. Then the next gas station attendant talked for 10 mins. Americans get a bad rap for no reason.

Not sure if it’s better than Sheetz though. Lol When it comes to USA gas stations Sheetz and Quiktrip are my top favorites. Only wish they were in NY.

We went to NYC this past summer from AZ which we drove. I always heard good things about Wawas. So we tried it out and it was a good experience. I got a Grilled cheese sandwich and hit the road. Miles down the road i took a bite and found the longest freaking hair in my sandwich. But Love's is always a go to here in AZ. Great video.

Being a Truck Driver I eat at alot of gas and fuel stations. Independent places generally are the best. Fresher food and cheaper. I know you arent coming to southern Indiana or Northern Kentucky but I could show some really good places. Jacobi's and Hucks and Cowboys all have really good food. But Louisiana is the honey hole. Fresh Cajun at almost every place.

I grew up near there. I took a tour of the original chocolate factory before they turned it into this animatronic mess. You actually got to see them make chocolate. That was many years ago, and I was a child. Beet eggs are really a local delicacy. I never liked them, though. Next time go to Wiener World and try hog maw. My sister still lives in York.

Just to let you know that fruit it's in them cups is cut fresh everyday I used to work at the loves and I had to cut it that's the only reason why I know it's very good cut fresh everyday

You guys would be bitterly disappointed if you came to Australia. Our gas stations literally have a mini oven with meat pies and that’s it!!! Thanks for the video Ken!

The reason for that is because these chains that Ken goes to are NOT gas stations! They are CONVENIENCE STORES that happen to have gas pumps. They started as regular convenience stores WITHOUT gas pumps, concentrating strictly on food. Actual gas stations added mini marts later on, and they usually have stale coffee and crappy hot dogs. THAT would be gas station food! The good stuff is convenience store food! There is a difference!

I typically don't buy any food at gas stations since it's all overpriced, but it's fun to see what they have these days. They've come a long way from the two-day old hot dogs on rollers.
