timmy turner Ik this was two years ago but when untangling your hair, add a small amount of oil to your palms and untangle. Next use a comb to brush out your curls a bit and it will give it more volume. Hope this helps!

I used to achieve this lovely curly afro look when I was in my 20's back in the 70's using pink setting lotion, hair jell and Begamount hair grease with soft pink sponge rollers using end papers to keep my 4C kinky hair smooth and prevent frizz. Old school works me. Thanks for posting.

Divamomz NY I'm going to do a maintenance video soon for you guys! I pretty much two strand twist my hair at night in small sections and wear a bonnet no matter what style I've done on it. Twist outs last up to two weeks but flat twists normally last about 4-5 days before they completely rebel lol!

I feel that using the roller takes some of the definition off of your ends. Try leaving them be. Great tutorial!

Plum Dang it!!!! My Hair is longer than yours and it don’t even look as good as yours when I am done taking down my twist my hair is all frizzy and looks like an Afro puff what am I doing wrong!?What I do is I wash my hair then I put it on wet hair my hair cream then I do oil then I twist my hair.in the morning I will wake up and loosen my twist and it looks like an Afro puff!!! My twist do not hang individually what am I doing wrong!?
