I tried a Twist Out on my Thin 4c Natural Hair and it tried me instead, this time!

when I do individual twists out I split the twist twice. It may make u lose some definition. But it increases the volume. Also one way to keep both definition and volume is to flat twist first and then twist out. Instead of doing individual twists. 🙂

I love it. I find that small twists are nicer on short 4c hair (I tried this style for the first time a few days ago and I really loved it). It fits you very well.

It's so funny you just posted this video because I have low density, fine hair and it's currently in twists. I tried wearing it with just the twists but chickened out and put on a headwrap. That Tangle Teezer brush has made detangling a breeze. I couldn't believe it! I have to work in smaller sections tho as my hair is dense which I don't mind. I was using the ez detangler brush and the shampoo brush, my roots were still tangled, and I think they caused more breakage.

you get less shading when the de-tangling is done while the hair is till wet, with conditioner or shampoo lather, de-tangling from tips to hair base, than when the hair is dry
