Great review Im here because Im considering the Hurricane. Guess KBO changed from belt to chain since you posting the vid. Pics on website and CS are confusing.

I think KBO just came out with a newer model which has a larger capacity battery and higher wattage. Just FYI.

Hey Clint; I bought this bike and unfortunately it’s been giving me trouble since day 1; the brakes squeak and grind making it unbearable hearing them; I took them to a repair shop and they told me it’s just poor quality breaks. They work well but just screech. Second, out of nowhere today, it wouldn’t turn on. It’s fully charged but no matter what I do, the motor does not turn on. I tried to take battery off and see if anything was loose; saw a wire missing an end but could not find where it goes m whatsoever. The KBO support does not answer calls or emails and I’m about to just throw it away at this point. I’d love to connect if you could help in anyway; I’m desperate; I use this bike as my main mode of transportation.

I hate hearing that! How long have you been trying to contact them? Regarding the brakes, have you tried taking the brake pads out and rubbing them on sandpaper? I've had to do that with some mountain bikes that had squealing brakes.

How fast can this thing go tho, like I used too be able too get 25 mph easy on a 200$ fixie, like can I go faster then that?

Does the pedal assist come immediately or do you have to get to a certain speed on your own

If you can't remove the battery then what happens when you need to replace the battery? A throw away bike?

You can still remove it from the bottom of the down tube with either a screwdriver or allen wrench. It's just not quickly detachable like other bikes.

Why do these cheap e-bikes not have a way to quickly detach the electrical cable? another $10? Shops are starting to refuse to work on them because even changing a tube and one slip causes the wheel to fall and damage the cable.

@@ClintGibbs yes, they require me to debug first which I know nothing how to debug or even if I know it’s not easy and hard to operate. I would rather pay to get it repaired but it seems like there isn’t any bike store that can repair this except kbo, obviously they wouldn’t pay for the shipping cost. They claim the bike is 2 year warranty but obviously not, you have to pay to get repaired
