I have been playing this music everyday since my 9 year old son died last April 20, 2024. This always reminds me of his love for God. How he asks me to read him the Bible before going to bed and then pray after. He would always ask me to play this till he falls asleep. Now his spirit is already with God. My heart hurts. I miss him everyday. Thank you for this music. Praise God even through pain and suffering. I love my son so much

Oh wow! I have never heard this song so closely played to the way my aunt played it growing up and it was one of my favorite hymns. She was our worship leader for pretty much my entire childhood and half the time, I can't stand hymns unless she's playing and singing them. In my mind her versions are the "real thing" haha.

Kaleb, never mind the few that dislike 👎your presentation. It is soul changing and spiritual water to the spirit of God's true people. That song is taken from Psalms 42:1. The entire chapter was the heart of King David and his cry 😭 to God after he had experienced the critics of God who was array themselves in the house God. King David a truly repented man; repented man after God’s own heart. He was sincere. And David's worship was born out of a true spirit. It is what God desires from us whether we are singing, playing and instrument, or just standing in the mist as one presents worship to God. A job well 👏👌done Kaleb. I like it👍

I'm not currently in church but as a child we sang this song in church a lot. As an apostolic church we sang all our songs with gusto of it wasn't loud you weren't doing it right. But this song is so gentle and from the heart it deserves to be sung with deap emotion and care. A truly beautiful thought as well as a fantasticly simple melody.
