Just ordered Chroma Chameleon and Wine Not after seeing NailItLovely swatches. For multichromes, it would be nice to see live shifts too. That blue neon was my favorite of that collection too!

I love multichromes, but they're so hard to seen all the shifts on camera. I've seen some pretty awesome pictures where people put their nails in a clear glass of water to show more of the colors that the polish shifts

I wonder what makes a color neon. I mean I know they're really bright but at what point are colors neon? Why can't cameras understand them lol. And why do they all dry matte?

I guess the term neon is usually applied to polishes with fluorescent pigments, which emit light in the visible range when lit with higher-frequency light such as UV light, due to a quantum-mechanical effect known as fluorescence. This can give them that unnaturally bright look in daylight, and makes them glow under a blacklight. I'm not an expert though, so I couldn't tell you why they dry matte :/
