The special thing about nails as a canvas is that they are small, they are curved, and they are moving. There are also ten of them. These features should be taken advantage of by sparkly, holo, multichrome, loud, bright, and fascinating shades. Nails also move in and out of different lighting, so that can highlight different features of polish too. Love interesting polish finishes that really use these features to their best advantage.

Skiing Is Believing reminds me of another KB Shimmer polish, Hidden Potential. It's got the same kind of multichrome pigment that's kind of shimmery with slightly larger particles... And it's SO SHIFTY. I love Hidden Potential because you basically get an entire rainbow between the base color and the multichrome pigment. This sounds like a similar effect, and I LOVE the pink base color!

I just made and received my first KBShimmer order. Currently wearing All Fired Up (fall-looking thermal) and also got Obsidian (dark multi-chrome). Created the order for the replacement brush heads, but the polishes are soo good. And yes, super easy to apply. 😊

I love this whole set. The only thing I miss is a polish with their jelly chunky glitter formula. I've come to love that finish from kb shimmer so much. Leaf of Faith is an every autumn mani for me. I think I'd rather people read my thoughts. I have ADHD. There's like 4 inner monologues going plus a super enthusiastic DJ and slide show expert ready to play clips of nearly anything I've ever seen all at once. I'd have a lot of fun seeing someone try to catch everything going on in the chaos. Also, I work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Sometimes people say slurs or do things and I need to look up a term or a history of a term/phrase or common public relations responses to specific issues. Without context of my work, I think that would look a certain way and could potentially hurt people.

I have 1 or 2 KB Shimmer polishes I haven’t tried yet - I wanted to wear my ILNP polish I bought quite a while ago - but it was a crashing disappointment in both color & wear time. 💔😔. I do hope I have better luck with the KB Shimmer!!🤯😱

I love their colors. The first collection I got from KB Shimmer I must have gotten a bad batch. They were super thick. Hard to work with. And chipped in the first day. So I was super disappointed. I think I'm gonna give them another try. I did use their base and top coat for their glitter polish. I was so disappointed because it's so pretty. So I have 9 polishes that hate to throw away because I paid for them but they're just taking up valuable space. And they look so pretty on my nail polish display stand. This collection has me convinced. Plus the sale. It's like wasting money to not take advantage of it. Right? Right???
