Yeah it's the principle not the food, it did sound trivial and cheap but that's the way the show put it across but I could see where the girl was coming from. At the same time she should stand up for herself more, she's obviously too timid to mention things like this when they are alone

But since the roommate brought it up to the show, either she is not in a difficult situation or she has not told the roommate, in which case is also her fault to expect someone to understand without telling them why they should understand.

As I was watching the third concern I couldn't help to feel angry. That roommate looked shameless and her facial expressions were grinding on my nerves. It was like she was annoyed to find that as a concern, that she should eat whatever she wants because she's hungry as she nodded her head when the elderly man said that he sided with the roommate. The fact that she went through her roommate's closet and found food, ate it just shows that she lacks respect. They are boundaries as a roommate and if something is hidden I think it's pretty obvious she wanted to eat it herself. Also, how can she say that she hates frozen food, but eats hers? The one with the concern bought them for herself and I felt so sad when the roommate ate/drank what the one with concern's mother gave her. How is it possible that she thinks it's for her? No one cares that deeply for another person's daughter, especially since their own daughter is a frequent patient at the hospital. I could be greedy when it comes to food, but I know where my lines are. I always ask if I could eat what's not mine first and if I permission I eat it, if I don't; I put it back. The roommate needs to learn about manners, respect and boundaries. This concern annoyed the hell out of me.

You've got the wrong end of the stick, the reason they say that to him and others who come on in similar situations is because they are the ones who have come saying its a concern for them. That's why I think his concern was abit naff, like if you're not willing to change yourself to fix what others don't like about you then stay who you are and don't care about them but he obviously cares that's why he came on the show yet he doesn't want to change. I know he's young but people like that annoy me. Plus he's so fixated on not changing because he wants to be a trot singer and thinks trying to be masculine will ruin that but he's clearly forgotten something...puberty, his voice is going to change whether he likes it or not so I don't see why he can't be flexible....it's not like there are no male trot singers...how frustrating

I relate so much with the last concern, being an only child myself I had a hard time trying to get closer to other people that weren't my family members. I'm lucky that I've found those few friends who are really patient with me. It take time for someone like her to really open up, I just hope her friends will be patient enough and be a good support so she can over come her timidness.

And obivoulsy kids get given chores and there is nothing wrong with that.. but I think it's a bit selfish to have more kids if you can't even find time to take care of them or do some chores yourself.

Idk why but my tears r falling while listening to the 1st concern, seriously, If I had a daughter like her, I wouldn't want anything else in the world. I don't like the fact she said "I dont have mom", no one ever complimented her so she don't know how to compliment her kids. Whatever she been thru in the past and doesn't matter how hard it is, she still can't make her daughter to experience the same as her. The fact that her daughter asked her "Mom, do you need help?" already maker her a good daughter and independent. The second concern, i am so amazed that he doesn't cry when i'm the viewer, crying like a river. I really don't understand people. Why must they judge him? I mean, he can be whatever he wants to. Don't need to say those harsh words even if they doesn't like him. I've a guy friend like him and the guys around him do friends with him. Just hearing the 1st concern sounded exactly like childhood; the even the age gap, the mom asking for water, the bellydancing (though I did real bellydancing). I started learning at the age of 9. When the baby called her mom, that killed me. My baby brother used to call me 'mama' until he was 5. By the time I was 14, I was also paying all the household bills. On top of all of that, I had to maintain at least an 2.9 GPA. My mother also said it was because I liked it. Such crap.

The last concern, I'd die if had a friend like that it's like walking on egg shells at every turn, if am being honest I think I'd exclude her more because of that I don't understand why she can't reason that if he friends haven't deserted her by now they must really genuinely like her. Ikr... I was in a group of friends in college with this kind of girl too. She's too sensitive. We even rarely teased her. Once she got mad at 2 of my friends because when three of us left her I was the only one waved goodbye. Can you imagine someone ggave you silent treatment for not waving you goodbye for daily routine, like, tomorrow we'll meet again at school, dude! The boy in the second concern seems so genuine and fun! I hate how in Korean culture men need to be "masculine". It should be acceptable to act in any way, feminine or masculine or whatever else! Honestly, kids like him are the ones who grow up to be amazingly talented and bright. It sucks that no one brought up the fact that what he was being treated like at school was straight up bullying and harassment. I hope he grows more confident and people open up to him more! Also, there are many people in the idol industry who act feminine (Key and JoKwon in particular). And whenever those two are on a show, I feel like it's more fun and energetic.

haha I love the kid from the 2nd concern he's sooo funny! I would love to have a friend like him :) I feel disappointed in the guys that avoid him just because he's a bit feminine I mean I swear almost all korean guys are like homophobes even the younger generation even though they should have a more open mind than the older generation! The chubby girl from the 3rd concern that keeps eating her food kind of pisses me off I mean I'm pretty sure she would be more pissed off than her roommate if it was the other way around. Even though it may seem like something petty sending in a concern about her roommate stealing food but I get so angry when someone steals my food I get them to buy it for me again or else I start annoying them :P It makes perfect sense that if she's going to eat more than she should pay more for it otherwise it's like she's just leeching off her roommate a bit.

I learned to do my own laundry (sorting, washing, drying, folding) when I was about 7 years old but I did NOT do the entire families laundry or things like towels. Only my own clothes. Beyond that is a bit excessive to *expect* from a child. For a child to *help* is normal when asked. I was never charged with watching siblings, cooking meals, or changing diapers however. That sounds like a lazy or misguided mother to me.
